We saw there was a Groupon for a tasting at Wild Roots, and decided to check it out. Elise was our tasting host, and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Marionberry & Raspberry vodkas were my favorite – The Washington Apple is aged in whiskey barrels, so it tasted too much like bourbon for me. But it would be great in cider! They also make «mini cocktails» that you can enjoy after your tasting, and recipe cards so you can make them at home too!
They also let us taste a straight gin & vodka they were featuring from Cascade Street Distillery. Both were corn-​based spirits, and were so smooth. We brought a bottle of the gin back to California with us! I hope to see their spirits in stores close to us very soon.

I loved the setting and atmosphere here, very feminine. The tasting guide had Adele playing so that was happy in my book. She was super nice, not as knowledgable as some others but she said she works there part time so I understand.
Raspberry was so good, it had a very tart flavor but I enjoyed it. The Marionberry was amazing with lemonade. I wanted to buy it so badly but taking it back with us to the East Coast is just too difficult. She said you can’t put them on their sides because it will pop the top out. I love the signage here, the typography is on point; that’s the nerd in me!
The fruit is all real with no preservatives which is awesome and the reason you need to refrigerator it after opening. I think these would be great for summer drinks or a brunch! They also have cream soda recipes for the alcohols and I got to try one which was dangerously delicious.

All I can say is yummmm. This is a great summer mixer in so many things. My favorite is lemonade with a hint of soda and roots marionberry. It says summer
