WTB Mufflers

At the recommendation of Rick’s RB Auto took my 65 Mustang to WTB to get an exhaust upgrade. They talked me through some options, and I took their advice as they were very experienced with classic car exhausts. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The nice mild rumble is now a fire breathing monster when i get on it.
They even did some custom work to get around my after market transmission. The pipes look great and the sound turns heads. Will bring all my future exhaust needs here.

Good hard working people here, easy to work with. I brought in multiple cars here already and they all seem to do a great job. We need more honest hard working small business run like this. There’s a reason why they have 5 stars.
They took me in right away and helped me with a dropped muffler. Within about an hour, they were able to fix the issue and are very reasonable on the price.
After the repair, they told me that the prior repair wasn’t factory and gave me suggestions on how to permanently fix it up to factory. They did a fantastic job and I will be consulting them in the future.

They replaced my son’s original (rusted out) muffler to his 1989 Lincoln with duel exhaust quickly and without any hassles in under 30 minutes.

Very very knowledgable and very fast. Excellent work done here at this place. The two guys that work the operation are the nicest people you will ever meet and they know their stuff for certain. Great great great establishment. 6 stars if I could.

Unilocal wins again! This place is amazing and they do awesome muffler work period. Marlon is such a nice, professional, smooth, great guy & actually listens to your every need. I had a super loud Flow-​master that was on my truck from the guy i purchased it from previous and needed something a little smoother sounding with great performance. He recommended the Aero exhaust for my Ford truck and it sounds perfect!!! Not to loud and not to quiet… solid and smooth with plenty of performance! This was the second time i used WTB mufflers and i highly recommend you give them a try. These guys can weld, fabricate, and just give all around 5 star service! I’ve gone to WTB twice now, and I still stand by my first review. These guys are amazing. They are always willing to get me in at the last minute and make time to fix me up. I’m going in once again today to fix up my exhaust from some damage caused by myself, and he was very humble in getting me in at my most convenient time to repair my exhaust. I’m 100% positive I will never go anywhere else to have ANY exhaust work done, whether minor or major. These guys are top notch salt of the earth people, and great business people who know how to treat their customers right. Great job once again.

I bought an exhaust to Marlon to have a O2 sensor bung installed. They did a good job welding the bung. Turnaround time was fast and price was good. Very happy with their service. Will definitely go back to them for my next project.

Had a backfire on my 1968 Mustang. Checked it out and ended up having a huge hole in my one muffler. Drove to this shop to check out prices and options. Ended up leaving with two new flowmaster mufflers. They had my car on the lift and were working on it within minutes of arriving. Decently priced and gave a military discount. Had me back on the road in less than a hour. Thanks a lot guys.

This place is awesome. Marlon and the team did a great job installing my headers and custom dual exhaust on my ’68 Camaro. Car sounds like a beast. I’m so glad I took my car here and recommend them to anyone.

Marlon and his shop was awesome! I am always very weary of new shops that I go to and I am super picky on how things are done mostly because I wrench on my on Rover and like things done the right way… money not an issue. I suspected my cat was falling apart due to rattling noise and bits of honeycomb shooting out so I gave them a call and came in the next morning. Marlon gave me a fair quote and time frame of about 3 hrs.
Problem: The exhaust was blocked somewhere along the exhaust but we were not sure where that is why the quote was for 3 hrs because he would have to drop the Y-​pipe and look for the blockage. Lucky for me they found a huge chunk as soon as they dropped the Y-​pipe so it cut the trouble shooting time instantly. I watched these guys work the whole time and helped out a bit and they did a very professional and thorough job. It was apparent that they also like to do things the correct way and not cut corners or BS the customer (besides they couldn’t with me). They explained things as they were working. There was also a previous problem with the exhaust in which the back half was not properly mounted and thus it was tweeked to one side touching the frame. Marlon and his tech took the time to properly align the entire exhaust and went so far as to fab up a new hanger (no extra charge thanks) so it would fit correctly instead of reusing the old one which was poorly made and did not fit right.
Results: New Magnaflow cat installed, properly mounted and aligned exhaust system, new hanger, regained power and sounds great. As a result of finding the problem right away, Marlon reduced the price of the original estimate since it took far less time. A true businessman know how to leverage his honesty to gain a new customer.
So, if you want good quality work from an honest, courteous person that you can trust… I highly recommend WTB mufflers in poway. Thanks Marlon and Tech!

This shop is located right off Pomerado in Poway and very easy to schedule an appointment with. I bought a Flowmaster American Thunder Axel-​Back exhaust off of the Internet and needed it installed. I came in on a Saturday at 9 am and my 2009 Mustang was up on the lift instantly! The gentlemen took the parts I brought in and effortlessly took off my old muffler and installed the Flowmaster. Instead of using the stock clamp they even professionally welded the pipes together for me! I was paid and out the door with my beefy sounding exhaust by 9:36 and paid $ 75! These guys are completely professional and up front. I read all the other reviews on Unilocal and that’s why I initially chose them and if I ever need exhaust work done again in San Diego they’ll definitely have my business.

WTB is a great little muffler shop in Poway. I called about getting my axle back exhaust system installed on my 2012 Mustang GT and they got me in right away. Installation took like 30 minutes, was very well done and at an affordable price. These guys are very straight forward and do just what you ask them to do, no BS. Next time I need exhaust work I’ll give WTB the business with no hesitation.

I had a great experience with wtb muffler! They replaced my noisy aftermarket exhaust to a stock muffler. And also helped me when my check engine light was on. Very honest and dependable people. I highly recommend bringing your vehicles here if you need a high performance mufflers. Thanks WTB!
