History

Established in 1993.

Originally from Chicago, IL, Mike Bruno moved to San Diego in 1993 to purse a new career and enjoy the sunshine. With a degree from Indiana University, Mike always dreamed of owning his own business and in 1995, Mike purchased a small carpet cleaning company. Mike realized quickly that most carpet cleaning companies were not providing quality service and they did not seem to know much about carpet cleaning either. He immersed himself in learning everything he could about his industry through trade magazines, networking, and training classes. As a result he began to solve many difficult cleaning related problems for carpet retailers, designers, management companies, real estate agents and homeowners. Over the years, Mike continued to work hard adding certificates & designations, new employees and state of the art equipment.

I am Mike Bruno, owner of All American Carpet & Tile Care and an IICRC Master Textile Cleaner. We are a cleaning & restoration company located in Pacific Beach since 1993. We take pride in our reputation, quality of work, flooring education, professional cleaning equipment and years of experience. We offer cleaning and restoration services for carpet and upholstery, tile & grout, wood floors and flood and mold emergencies.

All American Carpet Care is an IICRC certified firm with all technicians certified in carpet cleaning. The IICRC or Institute of Cleaning and Restoration Certification is the world’s most recognized body of certification for carpet & upholstery cleaners. We have been a Better Business Bureau accredited business since January 20th, 2000 with an A+ rating.

Great work and reasonably priced! What more could you ask for? Kyle and Jon cleaned carpet and tile in our home. I have THREE teenagers and constantly entertain friends, so you can imagine the high traffic marks and spills we’ve had over the years and we have white carpet and tile. AMAZING is the word that describes the before and after, especially the tile. I love my floors now where I used to be embarrassed with their stains. They are friendly, professional, and work to get your flooring look their best. You will LOVE these guys!

Mike came to us to do some mold remediation work. [For those of you who have never had the displeasure of dealing with a mold remediation companies… the industry seems rife with ripoff opportunities. One guy charged us $ 500 for one hour of work, and the work was not neurosurgery. It was removing an unremarkable piece of dry wall. (It was not an emergency or a holiday; it just a normal weekday morning. Lesson learned!) Another company removed some water-​damaged dry wall in a bathroom, sprayed the wood with bleach, and left a fan and a de-​humidifer running in there for 3 days. That cost us $ 3,000.] Enter Mike. We again needed dry wall removed due to water damage. He tore out the dry wall, treated the wet wood, communicated the problem pipe to our plumber, and left the area neat and tidy. He charged a fair price. I’d call him again.

After this review, Mike (the owner) contacted me, and I brought the rug back to him. He cleaned it one additional time at no cost, and now I am very happy with the cleanliness and condition of the rug. I am really glad that he stood behind his work in the end, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to a friend.

After having a really bad experience with Stanley Steemer not standing by their initial quote, I located All American Carpet Care. Not only was their price for stripping, cleaning and polishing my hardwood floors half the cost as Stanley Steemer, the technicians were professional, informative and exceptional with the work. I highly recommend this company. They also offered to come back to touch up any spots I may find in the future as well as offered to provide cleaning service on my designer rug when I needed it. Thank you Kyle and Gabe for exceeding my expectations!

Great experience with All American! We had used them originally about 8 months ago to clean our cousins’ house. That carpet needed patching in addition to a good cleaning and we were very satisfied when the work was done. We decided to use them once again in our own house. We had them clean two carpeted bedrooms, a stairwell going down to the garage, and then had them clean the grout on the kitchen floor tile, as well as a guest bathroom. It was a big job and the two technicians were just wonderful. I cannot say enough for the service and the effort they put in to do the job correctly. We have used a couple of other carpet cleaning companies in the past and I have to say, they were not nearly as thorough as All American. I was absolutely happy with the outcome and I will definitely call them again.

Great job by All American Carpet and Tile cleaning my master bedroom carpet. The two technicians were on time and immediately went to work on my large and fairly worn carpet. The technicians were very professional and personable and not only thoroughly cleaned the master bedroom wall to wall carpet, but their treatment seemed to breathe new life into the carpet!

This was the fastest and most thorough carpet cleaning I’ve ever experienced. The guys were very helpful and there were no surprise costs after the cleaning. Primary concern I had was pet odor and they not only fixed the problem but also told me what to do if my pet sneaks onto the carpet again. Highly recommend All American Carpet and don’t forget to tip the guys in cash… they deserve it. Thank you guys again.

Our dog got a hold of a corner of our carpet and completely destroyed it, including the pad underneath. I searched for carpet repair places and found All American Carpet Care. I contacted them for an estimate as well as another place. Melanie promptly contacted me and asked me to send in a picture of the damage and had an estimate back to me within an hour. I never did hear from the other place, so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with All American.
Mike, the owner, came out to do the repair. While he was a bit later than our scheduled time, Melanie had contacted me earlier to let me know that he was running late. I can’t stress how important this is to me from a customer service organization and it’s surprising how many places fail in this regard.
Mike got right to work and pulled a small section of carpet from the back of a closet to repair the damaged portion which is in a very visible place in our house. He was done quickly and in less time than originally quoted. The repair was flawless, I couldn’t even tell that it had been done! With that, plus coming in at the bottom end of the estimate, I couldn’t be happier with their service.
I plan to contact them in the future for any carpet repair or cleaning needs!

Our elderly cousins have lived in the same house for 60+ years & needed to have a 40+ year old carpet repaired & then cleaned. We were sure there would be no way to repair the carpet — it was bad! Mike, Reggie & Richard came in & saw it as no problem & away they went, working on what we considered an almost impossible situation. A few hours later we were looking at a marvelous repair job & a cleaning that was far beyond what we expected. These guys are fabulous & I can’t thank all three of them enough for all they did for us! We will ABSOLUTELY use them again in our own home in the future!

I have had my carpets cleaned numerous times by various carpet cleaners and none have done as good as a job as Reggie did. The numerous stains I had including some really dark ones on my stairs have come out. He did a great job, was very professional and informative. If I was staying in San Diego I would only use this company for future cleaning.

Awesome customer service. I sent an email inquiry and received a call later the same evening. Melanie answered all of my questions, was extremely helpful, and was willing to give me all the information I was looking for even though I wasn’t ready to book anything at the time.
The next morning I left a voice message for Melanie about a slot that she had said was available the same day. I received a call back letting me know that I could get service indeed, and within an hour Reggie was there with the van.
Reggie is extremely friendly, open to answer questions, and even gives tips and hints on how to clean other areas of the home. I had even been considering getting a part of my hardwood floors done by All American, but he said it wasn’t necessary, and instead recommended me to an inexpensive and good way to get them looking like new.
All in all, I have nothing but the best to say about the company and the people I interacted with. Oh, and the price was extremely competitive (the best I could find) compared to what other companies were quoting me.

Carpet cleaning its not exciting but I highly recommend this place. I appreciate a company who it’s upfront and tells you what they can or can’t do. They did a great job on my rug on which my pooch vomited. It even required some dye to blend in bleached out color after I attempted to put some spot cleaner. Great Job!

We had a mold problem in the studio apartment we rent.
Mike came out to do some mold remediation and carpet cleaning and went far beyond the call of duty.
He immediately got dehumidifiers and fans in to dry the place out, washed the carpets and fumed the unit.
On top of that, Mike went on to the roof and trimmed 3 neighbors trees above our unit that were shading our house and keeping it moist!
pleasure to deal with.
You know you have great company when they go way beyond their scope of work to solve the problem and not just bandaid all the issues.

All American Carpet Care has cleaned my house and my parents house. The guys were nice and on time. They did a GREAT job with our mystery stains. We had them clean our tile floors also. My bathroom floor was cleaner after they left then when it was first installed. It’s so clean, I had forgot the color that it was originally. Today marks the second time All American has come out to clean our carpets. They arrived on time and did a super job for us. The cost for their services are very reasonable. I’m sure I could find a company that would clean our carpets for less but I think finding someone who would do a better job than All American would be pretty tough. I opted for their Teflon treatment as we have pets. They also sold me a bottle of spot treatment that they will refill for free every time they come out. Turns out the store bought spot cleaner I was using was bleaching the carpet.
It’s important to us that when we have people come to work in our home that we feel that they are trustworthy. I have no qualms with All American’s employees, in other words, I don’t feel like I have to keep an eye on them. They are professional, diligent and care about taking care of their customers needs.
A big problem I’ve had in the past with most of the carpet cleaning companies I’ve used is that within a day or two after cleaning my cats get sick. Having cats vomit on your freshly cleaned carpet is a real turn off. Since we started using All American this hasn’t been a problem.
The next time we need our carpets cleaned All American will be the first company we call.
