My Authentic self offers an intensive healing process in which I assist in facilitating reconnection of self with soul and spirit (root).

Intuitive Readings:

Intuitive reading (spirit work) help uncover the unseen influences in a situation. I utilize talking stones, Tarot cards, channeling, and energy reading. The talking stones are used as a diagnostic tool to uncover what is going on in the here-​and-​now (what’s crossed your spirit).

Reiki/​Energy Healing:

Reiki is a form of touch healing. I combine standard Reiki techniques, with a more intuitive/​shamanic approach. This is hands-​on touch, with no body manipulation. Energy workings address all types of healing needs including spiritual, physical, emotional and mental. All workings include a diagnostic reading.

History

Established in 2008.

In 2007 spirit moved me to start my own business offering healing services. It was a lifetime getting there. In May 2008 I was given the opportunity to make this dream a reality. I open my shop within Happenstance the Tribe, a collective of artists ranging from Hair dressers, skin care, massage, aroma therapy, and an herbalist. My Authentic Self at Happenstance the Tribe, provides a wonderful environment that promotes healing of the soul from inside and out.

In 2012, I moved the shop to a larger room. This new space now has enough room that that I’m able to offer workshops and classes. In addition, there is space to sell crystals, as well as, my hand-​crafted jewelry, and other crafts. I will soon be creating a line of conjure products to offer as further assistance to support the variety of clients needs.

Business Owner

Tommie StarChild has a Bachelors degree in Human Services with special emphasis on counseling and group facilitation. His formal metaphysical education includes Reiki, psychic mediumship, and Anderson Feri Tradition of Witchcraft, and studied the arts of magic and witchcraft since 1992. StarChild is a skilled occultist, practiced in the arts of witchcraft, possession, and spell work. Ever increasing his skill and knowledge, he is studying with gifted teachers, as well as his ancestors, the old ways of the American South, what his family called conjure. He is a life long medium, working with his faerie companions actively his entire life. In addition, his work in Feri introduced additional skills and deities that have influenced/​shaped his intuitive reading technique. His relationship with the fae folk have guided and directed his path. His rich life experience and education, both formal and informal make him a natural counselor and guide to the process of reconnection of soul and body.
