Came after hours to pick up some things out of my car to find out that my trunk was open. Makes me wonder how many times he left my car unlock… Great place but not sure what to call this. Irresponsible since you trusting this guy to fix your car and he leaves it unlock.

Alejandro was very easy to work with. I was outta there in 20 mins and I got the $ 10 discount for my Unilocal check in. Definitely coming back in 2 yrs when my next smog check is due.

After moving to SoCal from NY I took my car to many different mechanics that told me many horror stories from junking my car to only $ 2000 to fix.
Someone told me to stop by P. B. Euro. I met Alex and explained everything that happened during my journey. First thing he said was lets do a diagnostic test so we know what’s going on. Two days and not any where near $ 2000 later my car passed inspection.
Alex is honest he went above and beyond. If your looking for a life time mechanic this is it.

I can’t say enough great stuff about Alex and his team. I was being bounced around from smog place to smog place, mechanic to mechanic and still no hope to get one of my car’s systems to complete. I tried everything I could find on the internet… no luck!
At the always excellent and reliable recommendation of George at PB Foreign down the road, I checked out PB European and Imports. They were kind, great listeners, and immediately offered to help. He offered $ 65 as the fee to diagnose. This was by far the lowest I’d heard. I also liked him immediately.
I came back the next day to have him take a look at it. He said it would probably take a couple of days but he would take care of it for me, not to worry.
I left my cellphone in the car and was back within a couple of hours. Alex reassured me again that he would take care of it, saying he had found a part that he could replace for $ 300 that might help but he thought he could save me that money and just clean my existing part, he’d let me know.
At the end of the first day, he called telling me my car had passed smog and that the price was $ 244 including the SMOG test and diagnonsis. i was so dumbfounded by the sudden success and great price I asked him to repeat it. The SMOG alone is $ 75 at some shops. I was thrilled and picked up my car next day, clean, ready, and with smog certificate in hand.
Alex and his team saved me when I couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone. My car is my baby and, while an oldie, is still a beautiful machine. He took great car of her! I will not only be back but will recommend him with enthusiasm to all my friends.

I had previously failed a STAR smog check (first time ever) and was beyond frustrated at the service I received at the first place I tried the week before. I pulled into this place on a slightly busy afternoon and was greeted by Alex (jr.). They fit me right in, took care of my smog (passed!) and we’re professional and friendly.
The next day I actually returned because my truck was sounding louder than normal and Alex (Sr.) was kind enough to listen to my concerns and help diagnose the issue. Turns out it’s something that doesn’t need immediate repair and Alex sent me on my way without charging me.
Definitely recommend this place and I’ll for sure be back. Thanks guys!

I came today, a Friday afternoon, with no appointment and a failed smog check on a 1995 BMW 3 series that also needed an oil change. For those who don’t know, it’s tough to get people to work on pre-​2000 cars that don’t pass smog. I literally had talked to 12 (count them, 12) other car shops in the PB area — these guys were busy as hell but still let my car in, and they also had the cheapest diagnostics test cost out of all the other shops I called. Alex (the dad) was more than accommodating and worked past his normal open hours to make sure I passed emissions and had everything done, and cut me a little discount at the end too. Both the dad and the son are super friendly and cheery. These guys are homies. Will be back for future oil changes or whatever I need done. Couldn’t have asked for more, the five stars are well deserved.

Experienced, fast, cost efficient, definitely the best around here. They fixed my car when apparently no one else could. 5 stars!

Alex Jr and his dad really know what they are doing here. They have great customer service and let you know exactly what’s going on with your car and if any services are needed. Him and his team offer grade A service.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quick & honest quality service. I came in for an oil change and was immediately helped out by Alex Jr. He was very friendly and helpful; and my car was ready in no time. He also took care of my sister’s car and he even topped off my brake fluid :) I will definitely be coming back for future auto services!

I recently brought my 2005 Mercedes Benz E500 in to replace my brakes and have some codes that kept popping up looked at and assessed. Both Alex Sr and Alex Jr own and run the shop and they personally took great care of my car… They handled everything and then some! I had to leave it for a day and when I picked it up, they took their service a step further by having my car detailed by the auto detailing peeps that’s on their lot.
I’m very particular with mechanics and auto repair shops and don’t really trust most. These guys are LEGIT and saved me a lot of money. Thanks guys!!!

Outstanding service. I just went there to get my smog check done. Took less than 15 minutes. Alex Junior was helping me out. Everybody working there was super friendly and helpful. I will be back in two years!

Recently came here because my car was making a weird noise in the engine. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Turns out there was a lot that needed to be maintained and Alex and his son were great! I had two days of work done and Alex lent me a spare car so I didn’t have to rent one. Alex is very honest and showed me all of my old parts he took out and what was wrong with them and explained exactly what he did. Very trustworthy establishment and I will defiantly be returning.

Alex Jr. worked on my truck today. Amazing service! My boss recommended this mechanic to me and I’m grateful. Quick and painless experience; he explained everything he did and why. Definitely returning!

I don’t go to PB much, but since recently I have been coming to PB to visit my BF, this gas station is well worth the trip (and him of course). It’s always the cheapest quality gas in PB and anywhere around SD. And I’m not talking about membership exclusive only (Costco). I’m talking about quality brand gas (Shell, Chevron, 76, etc) not that cheap ass Arco gas, Vons, or some unknown watered down gas.
Also it surprises me how cheap it is considering it’s in PB!
