History

Established in 1982.

The first Tint World® Center opened in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1982 which started a new segment to the window tinting and automotive accessory marketplace. This new concept started with window tinting and soon after began offering and detailing services through consumer and market demand. As technology advanced, Tint World® began expanding its product offerings to include auto security, car stereo video upgrades, auto accessories, and reconditioning services thereby creating a unique chain of Automotive Styling Centers. I wanted to tint the windows on my car and was looking around. Tint world was one of the top places I found. I showed up with no appointment and was given a great quote and decided to move forward. Originally I just wanted window tint. Recently I’ve been looking into a roof wrap and had been shopping around. I asked if they offered wraps and they did, price was good so I decided to also go for it. The salesman was genuinely enthusiastic when I told him about the wrap. He showed me his car since his roof had it, and it looked great. The fact that he was excited about it, made me feel in good hands. The final work was far more better than what I imagined. Great job on everything. I recommend you go to tint world.

All of the good reviews are false. This place is a joke. My Windows had bubbles in them and the owner tried to convince me that it was normal. He also told me that he is not responsible for what the employees in his shop do or say because they are contracted and don’t work directly for him. I had to argue to have the tint removed. Find another place.
As far as Jian’s comment I was a customer not a competitor. If you would like me to post pictures of the glue residue that is left on my window. I wouldn’t let Scott or anyone at the miramar shop close to my car ever again.

I highly recommend Tint World, they provided high quality service than I anticipated. My tints were on point for my 5 series and the staff did a great job installing my stereo system. I will definitely bring my 2016 4 Runner to have them wrap it. Good job staff, keep up the great work you do.

I’ve gotten tint and subs on all my previous cars. I just got them both done here and by far one of the easiest experiences. Listened to what I wanted on my truck, and got it done quick and painless. If you’re in the San Diego area id recommend these guys to help you out!

So I’m Asian and I have light sensitive eyes. You can only imagine how my small vision would be impaired during bright, sunny days in San Diego. For everyone’s safety, I needed tints.
Jay and Scott hooked it up on two different cars for me. I believe it was 30% all around including the windshield for a CLA250. I only had 30% done on the windshield for the Sonata since it had factory tints all around. At first, I was worried since I saw little bubbles around but after 2 weeks of parking indoors, it finally went away. Good job and still looks great after 3 years! I’ll be back when I get a new car
I also got to play Last of Us on their PS4 while waiting
PS. Leave a tip for the tinter. When I went in for the second car, they did mine right away :-)

Excellent professional tint on my BMW X-​5. Looks great with the dark gray paint. Limo black in the back and rear, lighter on the driver and passenger sides. dark strip across the top front to prevent sun glare. Professional installation, friendly service.

I called around this morning looking to get an alarm installed and BOOM. I find this place and was greeted with great customer service over the phone. I was amazed that they were able to fit me in same day. They were nice enough to pulled out my old alarm and do a clean install of the new one. I must say im happy with the service and im sure ill be back.

Amazing service! And great job they did on my BMW! I literally called and when I asked them I they had availability same day they said «come by now we’ll get you in!» Amazing people! They told me it would take 2 hours, they had it done in 2 hours. I was waiting for my car there. And they were playing Friday on Netflix. Haha made time fly! Thanks again guys !!! Scott appears to be a great salesman with good customer service skills, however the one star isn’t for him, it’s for Tint World’s quality of work.
I had my windows tinted here because a friend recommended them (verbal recommendation, I didn’t see their car prior too), I took a chance and wish I didn’t. I’m not a professional window tinter, but I know how to tint windows and can honestly say that I could have done a better job.
If anyone has ever had their windows tinted by an experienced professional, you will know the difference. The quality I received was very poor as the windows weren’t throughly cleaned prior to applying the tint, the cuts at the top were cut short, some areas weren’t even straight (jagged lines), and there were more air pockets than there should have been (due to the window not being cleaned well).
When you go to these multi service shops, the guy doing tint is either new and practicing, hasn’t done it in a while, or is probably really good at something other than tint.
Ultimately my fault, I should have went to a dedicated tint guy versus a tint shop where it’s luck of the draw.

I went in this afternoon interested in upgrading the factory stereo in my car and was immediately greeted by Scott in the front. He talked me through my options and was originally going to set me up with appointment to get the stereo installed in my car tomorrow. I’m guessing he could tell I was very excited about upgrading my stereo because he offered to install it right then and there. He also suggested that I get tints for my car as well. I accepted and he gave me a great deal on the stereo and installation, as well as giving me a bargain on the tints, which I will be getting tomorrow. In no time my new stereo was installed and looks amazing. I haven’t gotten my tints yet but I already know they’ll do a great job.
If you are looking to get work done on your car I definitely recommend coming here and talking to Scott. The service is great, the atmosphere is friendly and welcome. They even have Netflix playing in the waiting room so you don’t get too bored waiting for your car.

2006 Acura MDX, Clear bra dealer grade Scotchgard 3M over 10 years old was degrading and peeling away from the hood and front quarter panels. The hood looked terrible and the peeling clear bra collected dirt and debris. (I wish I had a before picture). My husband spoke to Tint World about doing the tedious work of removing the eyesore and they graciously took on the work. We obtained a quote and an appointment was made immediately. The work was done and the results were amazing. Customer service was impeccable and the balance due was what was quoted.
I noticed this place is busy and customers are satisfied and happy when they leave. In the future, if I have any other needs for my vehicle I will call Tint World. Their attention to detail and «can do» attitude is amazing. So glad my husband found his place.

I went in today to get some window tint for my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. I called to make an appointment and they were able to take me right away which was great for my busy schedule. Upon arrival I noticed that they offer more than just window tinting. They offer various sound system upgrades and installs, wheels and tires, lighting upgrades and more. I decided to get some new speakers while I was here and they were able to install the speakers and tint in about an hour! This is the fastest service I have had on my 8 cars that I have brought to various places over the years. I inquired about getting custom roof racks for a ladder and they said they would be happy to order some and install them as well. The customer service is superb and their workmanship is just as good. I will most certainly return (maybe more than I should). Great job guys and thanks for the good work.

THEY DID WHAT TO MY CAR???
Are you looking for professional vinyl wrap, custom car audio, dent repair, car alarms, new tires, custom lug nuts, tail light tinting, powder coating, wheel restoration, etc?
Well, then I’d highly recommend this place!
First off SCOTT is the man. This dude VERY detail oriented. He worked with me on every idea I bounced off of him; he even had some ideas about the «little things» I would of never thought of. How I wanted my car to look was exceeded by how it came out – about 10x better than I thought. Another thing… multiple times a day Scott would shoot me updates via text/​photos on how progress was comin along; I mean, really? Who does that?! Most shops ONLY CALL you when the work is done!
Bottom line is my wrap came out amazing, the system is beastin’, my alarm couldn’t be better, the tires we chose are awesome and the lug nuts on the newly powder coated wheels add that final custom touch; plus the service I received was IMMACULATE.
If you are thinkin’ about getting anything done here, JUST DO IT, and I Guarantee you will not be let down!
