After ten years, my old pet sitter had to stop serving my neighborhood. I was heart broken and in a real time pinch because I was going out of town with short notice. Having heard great things about Close to Home, I contacted them and they saved the day. I used them a bunch of times during the last six months I lived in Seattle — and they were absolutely wonderful! Completely professional but also very personal and sweet, and it’s so obvious how much they care about our furry friends. They really, really put my mind at ease because I knew really wonderful people were taking care of my very old kitty. I wish we had a great pet sitting company like this here on Maui.

Absolutely fantastic. I could not be happier with Close to Home. My walkers are professional yet you can clearly see that they are pet lovers. I get daily texts with photos of my dogs out on walks, which makes me miss them just a little less while I am at work. They have worked with my schedule and other requests and always deliver. A+++

My goodness, what I’d do without Stan or John from C2H dog walkers, I DONT WANT TO KNOW! THESE guys are amazing. We have TWO GS puppies, Milo and Bahadhur, sis and bro. They are nearly 6 mos old. They «act like puppies,» crazy, bitey, wrestling — with each other, but can be CALM TOO. UNTIL THE «GUYS» come! THEY BOTH BECOME *^#^/​*)?! jumping, hyper, licky, crazy, bitey… UNTIL THE guys WORK THEIR MAGIC. (SERIOUSLY).
And they calm once on the walk. !!!
BLESS you, Stan and John! Thank you for being flexible with your time too. REALLLLY appreciate it.

We just used Close to Home for the first time and had an outstanding experience. We received daily updates which made us relax while we were traveling and our cats were content and happy when we got home! Highly recommend, great service and great people.

Great service! Vanessa, Carol, Stan, Jessica… they all did a great job caring for my dog for the past 7 months. They understood when I needed to make last minute cancellations and were very helpful watching my dog when I was on long weekend trips. Definitely deserve the 5 star rating. Thanks Close to Home!

Drew and his crew are top notch! Was introduced to them a few years ago and they have walked our two 4 legged kids without any issues. Emails and calls are always promptly answered and I truly appreciate the speedy responses. Drew was amazing to talk to on the phone as well as email when I first contacted him and answered all my questions and concerns. I have never personally met him, but from our conversations, he seems to be a very genuine person who truly cares about his business and dogs! I would highly recommend Close to Home to walk or take care of your furry family members! ^_^

I’ve been really happy with Close to Home!
I was new to Seattle in July and was having a hard time finding a pet-​sitting service that was affordable and available in my area. When I contacted Close to Home, Drew made sure that there was someone who could help us out!
Amy, our regular dog walker, is AMAZING! I know that she really cares about the dogs. She spoils them with time, attention, and treats! She’s really gone above and beyond what I expected. When my older dog (Stu) had to be put down, Amy visited us the day before, just to say goodbye to Stu.
I never worry about my pet or my home when I leave, thanks to Close to Home!

I am incredibly happy with Close to Home. We used to board our dog at Downtown Dog Lounge, but they’ve started overcrowding dogs. (We found out our dog spent most of a 10 day visit in a hallway!!! Unacceptable. He also got kennel cough)
We realized we needed to keep our dog safer, allow him more space, and a secure feeling. After a long search, we found Close to Home. The owner is a great guy, and we met with our dog walker, Joanna. Right away my dog loved her, sitting in her lap and nuzzling her. These are people who are passionate about dogs, and it really shows.
We’ve now used Close to Home for our last two trips, and couldn’t be happier. In fact, I think our dog is sad when we come home! ;-) He gets great walks and cuddles from Joanna, and she even sends us a daily picture from their walk. It was scary, at first, to leave him at home, but we now have full confidence that he will be in great hands. It’s also nice knowing our dog can sleep in his bed and have his toys.
I highly recommend this service. They care about your pets, they give them tremendous and sincere affection, and we wouldn’t use anyone else for future pet services.

I have to take a last-​minute three week trip this weekend, and the pet sitting company I have used in the past was not getting back to me 24 hours after booking on their site (seems to be typical per their reviews), so I turned to Close to Home. I can’t say enough how helpful Drew, the owner, was. His primary person in this area is on vacation for part of the time, so he was checking with others to see if they’d be willing to travel over to Bellevue, was lining up a back-​up company for me that he trusts, was very fast in responding to my emails, and assured me I’d be covered. I have never had a company go out of their way like this.
I haven’t taken the trip yet, so I can’t comment on the pet sitting itself, but based on Drew’s excellent attention to his people clients, I am confident that he’s as great with his furry ones.

I have used Close to Home Pet Services for 8 years. During that time they have provided excellent care for my dogs and cats in services ranging from simple house visits to feed the cats when I’m away from home to daily care of our active dog who needs walks and runs and lots of love while we’re at work. The things I love most about Close to Home is their reliability and their good and quick communication. Drew and Tami really understand that their clients entrust them with the care of their furry family members and they run a business that demonstrates how much they appreciate that trust that’s placed in them. They are careful, loving, responsive and helpful and continue to be a company that we rely on when we need extra care for the fur kids!

The online tool made it easy to schedule dog walks and other services. My dog walker Amy was fantastic. She would send me updates along the way, which made me feel like my dog was in the best hands. I recently moved here from Chicago and love these guys! My dog walker is amazing and Drew the owner is so nice and helpful, he sent me an email with places to go and in my new city! I cannot say enough good things about them. I saw my dog walker on the street one day and my dogs flew over to see him, jumping around, so excited to see him, made me feel so good to know they really love him! Highly recommend!

I hate leaving my furry kids at home when I travel. If I won the lotto, I’d buy a tour bus so that my pets could come with me wherever I go. Until that day, Close to Home is the next best thing. Stan took great care of my cats, even the one who hid under the bed. In fact, he took extra steps to make sure that my nervous cat was getting enough to eat. I got texts and photos to keep me updated on how everyone was doing. If you don’t have a tour bus, but you want your pets to get rock star treatment, call Close to Home.

Close to Home has been awesome. We watch my parents dog when they go out of town and Close to Home comes to let Scout out during the day. Drew has been wonderful over the phone and email. Stan comes to take care of scout, he is wonderful with her, sends us photos and let’s us know how she was during the day. Also, he is very careful with my indoor cats to make sure they don’t get out, he is great with the alarm at our house and scout is always happy and worn out from her walks with Stan!

We could not be happier with the service Drew and his team provided us. We have 2 smaller dogs – and they have major social anxiety and bad behaviors on walks :(Drew and his team (especially his sister Tami –who is a DREAM) did not blink an eye at being able to handle our nutty pups. The other thing that meant the world to us-​was how professional and respectful they are at all times. Calling ahead if they knew we were home sick – letting us know they were coming in. Very pro-​in ways that you don’t always find in the pet care world. One time, we completely forgot we had changed the walk schedule with them – and WE FORGOT to go home and walk the dogs! We called Drew and Tami and within 15 minutes they were on it and to the rescue.
We just moved out of Seattle and are super bummed not to have them in our lives :(Our pups truly miss them and so do we!!!

Drew and the entire staff at Close to Home are great. They are all reliable and wonderful to work with. Even though we just have a cat who doesn’t require much, we appreciate that they meet with you when they have a new staffer, or before extended visits, which makes you feel more comfortable leaving your pet and house in their care. They are also very easy to schedule and flexible to your needs.

We asked Drew to walk our dog when I went back to work a few months ago. Our dog is extremely shy with new people and had never had another person walk her. Drew and Tami were so patient with her and expertly built her confidence and trust. She is now more outgoing and less shy with new people. Over the months, Drew was in constant touch with me about her progress and was so proud of her when she was able to make the transition to daycare.
After ensuring that my dog was comfortable, my second priority is that we (the humans) felt comfortable with Drew and his team. As others have mentioned, their service is excellent and they are extremely responsive and communicative. They are very flexible and able to meet our needs on very short notice. I recommend them unequivocally.

Excellent service! We were going out of town for Thanksgiving, and luckily we found Drew. Drew made time to visit the house and dogs before we left, which really impressed me. He was great with the dogs, and was very friendly.
He was in contact with us when we were out of town, and we returned home to 2 happy dogs! The price is right, and the care is superb. We don’t leave town very often, but on our next trip, we’re using Drew!
