David Axelrod (nickname: DAX) is a Seattle native. He graduated from Lakeside School and received a BA in English Language & Literature from University of Michigan.

David has taught English around the world, from South Africa to Cambodia. In 2008 he traveled to Prague, Czech Republic to earn a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, accredited by Trinity College. He recently completed an intensive Nonfiction Writing certificate course at the University of Washington.
