Once again I’m left absolutely impressed with the level of customer service and excellence I experienced at Eco Car Café! At the end, I felt as if I was getting into a brand new car. Love this place!

I came in today to get a $ 90 exclusive car wash. The minute I pulled up the first thing they asked me was if I had brought my car in before booking an appointment. I had spoken to two people on the phone before making the appointment and neither said anything about that. The Eco café rep continued to tell me the things they weren’t going to do — get the pollen off the car and would only wipe down the trunk jams. He said «we aren’t going to do all that»
It was clear that he wanted to upsell the minute I came in. I wouldn’t take my car here if you want actual cleaning — my car is by no means filthy but had natural seasonal wear and tear.

C’mon guys, seriously — do I really need to wipe the tops of the power windows after you’ve done a detail?!? I was doing this as a kid when my buddies and I were cleaning our Parents’ cars! The work looked good when all was said and done… of course it did, IT’S IN A PARKING GARAGE. Folks, move your car out in the light and take a closer look, THEN go back and leave a tip… or not.
UPDATE: A week later and i’m STILL removing dried wax from the paint and trim. I also noticed that no protectant was added to the ext mirrors, the bumper guard, door handles, etc. Found a crumbly dried substance on one of the seats too. Meh.

Impressed! It took some time to clean my car’s interior, but I brought it here specifically because they advertised that they deep clean car seats. Whewww… our car seats have been given a new lease on life, and the interior looks amazing – especially after weeks of moving, with food and all sorts of who knows what, that was covering the floor of the car. We will definitely be back!

The guys here were great. I needed a fairly specific job done and they were happy to help with what I needed and completely honest with pricing. By far worth the price, as they worked quickly and effectively. The car is spotless on the inside and the smell of the car is that of a new one. Highly recommended service! Thanks guys

Eco just detailed my car — both exterior and interior. I chose the Elite Package (SUV). At first glance, my car looked pristine (it had accumulated dirt for 20 years so there was quite a difference!). The exterior was shiny and the interior smelled and looked really clean. However, when I looked at the driver’s seat I saw huge clumps of dirt that hadn’t been vacuumed out of the seat crack. I asked him to vacuum it for me and he kindly obliged. Once I got home I also noticed a few missed spots in the crevices of my car’s trunk door.
Overall, considering how much gunk was built up, it was a great clean, and the guys who were working were both very nice. I would have given them 5 stars if they hadn’t missed a few spots. I know my car was really filthy but for $ 300 I expected perfection.

Total waste of my time — I had an appointment. I dropped my car off and left my key in the dropbox. Called during the day to ask if my car was ready, but no one answered. When I went to pick up my car, they had not done any services on it. Apparently my key sat in the box all day. You’d think they might check for the car that had an appointment. I just don’t get it. Also, their key dropbox does NOT seem secure at all. I went elsewhere for my services.

Eco Car Café did a wonderful job for my car. I just came back from the YellowStone with my car and of course the condition of the car was terrible. I took my car to Eco Car Café with seasonal special deal, which is exclusive package plus spray sealant and fabric guard. When my car was ready, it reminded me the first time I bought it. Fascinating Job done! I would definitely go back again and recommend to others.

So I bought a used very dirty car and it was so horrible inside anything and everything you could think of had to be deep clean the car was a wreck. I didn’t have an appointment and they toke me right away fit me in for the inside and returned the next day and did the outside I was a little worried just because I’ve never paid above $ 40.00 at a car wash but they worked so hard and made a very dirty and bad looking land rover to a very clean and now I am not in shame to pick up friends and drive in it. Thank you David and Alex at the northgate location for all the hard work you put into my land rover.

Before I start, I want to say two things:
1. The service, in terms of the people who worked on my truck and the quality of that work, was absolutely five stars. The only reason I dropped a star was over the clarity of their pricing regarding light trucks and special services.
2. I received a 10% discount to write this review, which says something about the confidence they have in what they do, because they basically paid me $ 40 to say whatever I have to say, good or bad (before they did the detailing, not after), and took it on faith that I’d do so.
Backstory: I am not one for car washes. To me, a vehicle is an all-​weather tool, and blowing money on polish and washing is a waste. I have a light truck, which has been sitting unused for about nine months. Me being a slob and living in the Northwest, the cab of the truck had birthed an ecosystem of its own; mold was everywhere. The outside didn’t look much better. Since I no longer used it, I decided to prepare it for sale, and while I may not care whether it’s particularly clean, I recognize that a clean, comfortable vehicle is going to fetch a better price, so I bit the bullet and decided to have it detailed.
Setting an appointment: I scheduled my appointment online, opting for their top-​tier service, the Extreme Elite package, which thoroughly cleans the vehicle inside, outside, and under the hood. It also needs to be scheduled some time in advance, since it’s a 7-​hour process. Thorough. The website lists base pricing for this service, but states that an inspection is necessary before a final price can be declared. This is the first place that the clarity of the pricing falls through.
They suggest that the final pricing is unknowable, with only a base rate of $ 309 displayed online, but really there are set prices for specific types of vehicle, and set prices for specific problems. For example, the added price for taking care of the mold was $ 80 for the extra ozone treatment of the ventilation, and presumably the unpleasantness of dealing with it, which is fair, and I did expect to pay some amount more. But they set that price without actually examining the vehicle (I was told over the phone), so they could just as easily list that on the website and avoid the sticker shock.
On arrival: When I brought the vehicle in, they recognized my gray, pollen-​and-​spiderweb-​encrusted Ranger right away.
We went over pricing, which is where the second problem popped up: instead of charging $ 309 as the base rate, which is the rate for a sedan (the smallest vehicle class they list), they charged the SUV price, an extra $ 40. This made little sense to me, since the real work is the inside of the vehicle, and trucks have the smallest inside available. In each category, listed on-​site, they list example vehicles. None of the categories lists a model of light truck, again leaving the prices unclear and again setting up sticker shock that could be prevented.
To their credit, this is when they started to look for ways to bring the price down that they could justify to their bosses, so the price went from $ 309 to over $ 400, back down to the mid $ 300 range. Kudos to the guy on site for the effort, but I do prefer predictable pricing.
Results: the results are what caused me to agonize over docking a star over my pricing gripes. Turns out my truck is black, and can be made to positively shine. The guy who did the actual cleaning and polishing, a youngish blonde fellow, seems to really take pride in what he does. He seemed genuinely excited about the difference, and after six or seven hours of cleaning a moldy old truck, when I’m sure he’d rather be polishing a BMW, he was bright and friendly in explaining what he was able to get done, what couldn’t be helped (mold stains in the seat belt fabric and some of the deeper paint scratches, for example) and wanted me to give him any feedback I could, good or bad, which I respect a lot. This guy definitely gets five stars.
TL;DR: The ultimate question is, of course, whether I would ever go back. If I had it to do over again, I’d say yes. Part of my aversion to cleaning is an aversion to chemical smells, and their cleaning process made the cab of my truck go from genuinely unsafe to spend time in (again, mold) to feeling and smelling fresh, without the bleached and toxic odor I despise from harsher cleaning products. They did excellent work, and the people on-​site were friendly and actually put effort into meeting my concerns.

They squeezed me in last minute and were accommodating with cleaning the entire interior and buffing a scrape. The guy David who works there was very professional and maintains a high level of excellence for the operation. Highly recommend for a thorough and convenient clean.

Eco Car Café did a great job on my car. I got the «Extreme Elite Package (Sedan) — Entire auto detail.» It had lots of pollen, various scuffs, and bird droppings. The «cut and buff» option was great for getting out minor scrapes. They got rid of the «Seattle grime» in the trunk lid and engine lid. The engine bay looks like a new car.
David was my main guy and he spent lots of time during the inspection to work more on minor spots I saw. Connor and Jeremy also did good work ok the interior. I’ll come back again.

I’ve been looking for a place to get a great car wash that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! Let me tell you I took my car to David and John and not only did I get a clean car I got great service with smiles and great attitude. I can’t tell you how big that is when deciding whether or not to use a company again! I live in Bremerton and I wouldn’t hesitate to make the trip to Seattle for this awesome car wash. Built up broke dust, dirty carpet, spots I couldn’t remove, bugs and tar ALL GONE! I couldn’t be happier! Thank eco

My husband had gotten the interior of his vehicle steam cleaned a few weeks ago, and was very happy with the job they did. So when I got a stain on my hood and didn’t have any luck with Elephant Car Wash, I decided to see if Eco Car Café could help. I drove by without an appointment, just to have them look at the stain. They said they had a couple different things they could try and said it would only cost $ 30.
30 minutes later, they called and told me the stain was under the paint and they weren’t able to help. When I went to pay, they told me not to worry about it. I said they had spent some time and obviously made an effort. they just told me it was good practice and they didn’t mind trying.
It’s rare to get that kind of customer service.

You wouldn’t think that this place is located inside the mall but it is. It is located on the 3^rd floor of the shopping garage near the food court. Initially, we got lost coming here because the website didn’t really specify. I love that it is located inside the mall because you can just drop off your car and go shopping.
We had to get the interior of the car cleaned because there was a lot of dirt and leaves inside. We brought it here and it took about an hour and 20 minutes. Everything was super convenient because they just texted us when it was ready for pick up. The total cost of the car wash and interior cleaning was about $ 55 (including tip). I thought it was all pretty affordable.
I’d give it four stars because I noticed that there were still spots on the exterior and crumbs on the carpet. I guess they didn’t do a close detail when washing and cleaning the car. Oh well, the close detailed cleaning costed twice as much so it probably is not worth paying the outrageous amount. The wash/​cleaning did the job. The guy did offer to re-​clean it if we found any dissatisfaction. This gesture was appreciated.

Went in after we took a friend’s car for a trip to the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park. Needless to say there were bugs, tar on the exterior, stains from all the hiking/​beach activities on the interior and they handled it. Not much more to say.
I didn’t get a professional detailing package which would entail polishing and waxing but the basic package was a fair price and they did a great quick and timely job.
One thing I will say is there is a severe lack of car wash and detail services in Seattle which results in inflated prices when even compared with a high cost of living area such as NYC. There are so many detailers and car washes that prices are competitive.
This is a good place to stop if the standard Brown Bear or Elephant car washes are not good enough for the task, such as a muddy trip with 5 friends.

We have a 2003 Subaru Forester that we are trying to get ready to sell. Showed up for our appointment at 9.45am. Both Conner and David were very helpful. We bought the Eco Elite Package and it was just right. Conner and David did not try to upsell us and we were very impressed by that.
Our car looks great and we are so glad that we paid a little more, did not use any coupons, and it is truly «you get what you pay for». The car if ready to be on the market now.
We got a call 4 hours later and when we picked it up, Billy helped check us out. I can tell that the 3 guys worked really hard.
I am bringing our second car to have these guys work on it!

WOW! David and Billy did an amazing job! It surpassed all my expectations… *still speechless* It looks like I just picked up a brand new car. I got the extreme elite after 5+ years of never getting my car detailed to just ‘start over’ and start over is definitely what I got!
The Dirt:
I take my dog (chow/​samoyed/​fluffy mix) in my car everyday and frequent a dog park every weekend so you can imagine the hair and dirt in the back seat. To be honest I used to be really good with vacuuming my car every 3 weeks (for 4 years), but ever since I’ve moved jobs to an undesirable location I have not found a convenient spot to vacuum my car at, its been 1+ years since its been vacuumed. A rude guest left bicycle grease all over my trunk and after 4 years of looking at that bicycle grease (and various attempts with various cleaning solutions) I accepted its permanent scar in my trunk. I’ve had to park my car outside for ⁴⁄₅ years under various trees so there was pollen EVERYWHERE on the exterior in every crevice. basically stuff you can’t get out with the automatic car washes. A few years ago I spilled maccha tea in the passenger seat and despite many attempts to get that ‘green’ powder out of the seat material, that was also another permanent scar. One day the windshield condensed on the inside of my car and then my windshield had weird streaky water lines on it every time my car faced the sun while I drived… I was going insane and figured I had to get my car detailed then!
I saw my car from the outside first. I was thinking, «Okay its nice and shiny, great!» and as I expected. My real shock was the interior… I was shown the trunk first and my jaw dropped. A trunk covered in bicycle grease showed no trace. it looked brand new! I was speechless. after my hours of trying to get that stupid grease out… IT WAS GONE! All the pollen in the cracks and crevices. GONE! Hair, GONE! Maccha, GONE! Weird water streaks on windshield, GONE! I drove away in the sun finally not annoyed or irked.
I’ll definitely be back! But for maintenance so my car doesn’t scare people in the mean time… Thanks Eco Car Café for my «new» car! :)
FYI: I didn’t care to get my engine steamed, I just wanted the exterior and the interior cleaned and asked them if they could trade the engine clean for some extra TLC on the interior and they were happy to do so.

Even after reading other reviews, I was still surprised how good my 97 Lincoln looked after they got done. Stains in the door and carpets were gone. Overall I was pleased with elite service I paid for.
That said, I know my car was a complete mess when i brought it in, there were a few minor spots missed. For those who are total clean freaks, then just be sure look at everything.
As for me, I will be back. Money well spent.

I liked that I could drop my car off and get some errands completed (aka shopping) at the mall. The thought of having to spend 4 hours at a mall seemed pretty awful, but they called and texted me 3 hours in to let me know they were done.
I had a deal via Gilt City, and felt that I got the same level of service as if I had paid the full price. In addition, making the appointments online was easy and convenient. I also got my car in at 9 am, which is great since I didn’t waste a whole day waiting for my car to get detailed.
I will be returning in the future!
