Motley Crew Dog Walking

We can not say enough great things about Motley Crew. Our sweet pug puppy, Zelda, means the world to us, and it has been so wonderful having Erika, Jason and the rest of the Motely Crew as a part of our family. Since day one, they have been so friendly and helpful in working with our schedules, helping us train Zelda good manners and tricks, and have been giving her tons of love while we’re away. We can always trust them to take great care of our sweet Zelda, and we always get to come home to a very healthy, happy pug!

I’m so grateful to have found Erika and her crew (thanks Unilocal). Some reasons why I adore MC:
1. My grumpy old man of a dog instantly took to Erika. She’s seriously a dog whisperer.
2. Erika is an outstanding communicator. I can always count on a quick, helpful response. And I love the little notes left on how my dog was that day.
3. Prices are super reasonable. Seriously, shop around– you won’t find a better value.
4. Motley Crew has been 100% reliable. They have NEVER missed a walk with my dog and have graciously put up with some of my last min requests.
I could go on, but most sane people probably stopped reading after #1 and booked with the fabulous Motley Crew.

Erika and her team are honestly the best that there is. Professional, prompt, flexible, friendly, and pretty much any other adjective that goes in the category of «awesome». She has been walking my guy for 3 years now, everything from general walks to pet sitting when I’m away, and has been with us through a lot. We are very sad to be moving out of Motley’s service area, but we highly recommend Motley Crew to anyone on the hill!

Update: I moved to an area that Erika no longer services. She’s been great in this transition, and even recommended a new walker for my pup who will be taking over for park trips. I know Hoxton will miss Erika dearly, since he loves his trips with her. Thanks, Erika and co., for all the playtimes :)

Erika and co have been amazing !!! we we so lucky to find them through a recommendation from some friends, from the get go Erika and co have been caring, organized and professional! our two dogs love seeing them for their daily walks, and we love the notes about our two little boys… i would not hesitate for a second about recommending dog parents to this wonderful company, thanks Erika!!!

Thought it was worth updating my review to say that I am still 100% loyal to Motley Crew. My dog is now a year old and goes on daily park trips with the crew. He gets such a great workout and socialization every day with them. Erika and Jason are so conscientious and accommodating, and genuinely care about my dog. You couldn’t ask for better.

The crew are amazing. They are the third dog walking service I’ve tried in Seattle, and the only one that never cancels, leaves me nice little notes so I know what my hound got up to, and can deal with my dogs occasional sit-​in protest. My dog is always super excited whenever any of the walkers arrive, so I figure that is a great sign.

Erika and company at Motley Crew are incredible. Here are the highlights:
1. They are GREAT with my slightly unhinged dog. My 70-​pound pup is terrified of tarps, strollers, carts of any kind, the people who work across the street, waving flags, and who even knows what else, but Erika and team know just how to handle him. He’s always excited to see them, and he comes back from walks happy and calm (as calm as he gets, anyway).
2. They are so reliable. Erika has been walking my dog for over a year and has not missed a single walk. Not a single one!
3. They leave notes about all his walks and post the cutest dog pictures on Facebook and Instagram. I feel like I know exactly what’s going on when he’s out with them, and there’s photo evidence that he’s having a great time.
4. Motley Crew has the best customer service in the world. They bring packages inside the apartment for us. They’ve cleaned up when my poor puppers experienced intestinal distress all over the apartment. They bring holiday goodie bags for the pooches. They stick around for a game of fetch when the walk is over. They are extraordinary.

Erika and her team are the best dog walking company in Seattle. They are always very punctual, professional and take great care of the dogs.
We have been using Motley Crew to take our dog Gizmo to the park for about a year now, and he gets some great exercise and socialization every time. He’s super excited every time Erika or the other Motley Crew walkers come in the morning and he comes back tired and happy every day. I couldn’t feel that he is in safer or more capable hands.

Erika is the best! I highly recommend her services to anyone with a dog in the Seattle area.
Either it be dog sitting/​walking, we know Guinness is in good hands when she’s with Erika or with her any of her extended helpers.

Motley crew is amazing! I have been sending my dog, Oliver to park visits with Erika and her Crew for over two months now and I couldn’t ask for anything more in a dog walker.
Erika is very punctual, takes great notes and posts daily to Facebook and instagram — its great to be able to feel like your at the park… even though your stuck at your desk! My dog/​puppy is extremely active and the days that he goes to the park he comes back exhausted and happy… I couldn’t ask for more!
I can only attest to the park visits, but my dog is extremely happy! Erika is great and I would recommend to anyone.

Erika and Sophie of the Motley Crew have been walking my corgi, Sputnik, for the past 1.5 years and I have absolutely zero complaints. My boyfriend and I work pretty crazy schedules so Erika or Sophie take Sputnik out for 30 minute walks Monday — Friday in the afternoon.
Most importantly, Erika is 100% reliable. Though 1.5 years of experience working with the Motley Crew, I can say with absolute certainty that if I schedule a walk, Sputnik will get walked. Additionally, I feel no hesitation or apprehension about Erika having access to my home. She and her crew are trustworthy and have never led me to believe otherwise.
In addition, here are a few other awesome things about the Motley Crew:
— Easy Payment: I have used both Venmo and Chase Quickpay to process payments. Its never an issue.
— EXTREMELY Flexible: I have had to cancel walks the night before without a problem. All I have to do is email or text Erika and she has always responded WITHIN AN HOUR (even on the weekends). Further, I recently hired a house cleaner. Sputnik, hates the vacuum. When explaining this to Erika, she was 100% committed to figuring out a way to coordinate schedules with my cleaner so Sputnik would be out of the house during the vacuuming. This is a perfect example of Erika’s commitment to customer service.
— Once, I locked myself out of the house. I texted Erika to see if she was in the neighborhood (Cap Hill). Turns out she was in Belltown, but, was on her way back so stopped by to let me in. Another example of Erika’s commitment to go above and beyond.
— Daily Notes: As mentioned above, Erika and crew have been walking Sputnik for the past 1.5 years. Without fail, I have come home to a hand written note describing the walk every day since the first walk.
— Pictures! Erika and Sophie are great about taking pictures of Sputnik during his walk and posting them on Instagram and Facebook. It makes me smile every time I stumble upon one during my breaks at work.
Conclusion:
If you’re not using Motley Crew as you’re dog walker, you probably should. :)

I don’t even know how to say how amazing Erika and Sophie are at Motley Crew! They are phenomenal! I recently had surgery and was unable to walk my two little dogs and the two of them are not easy but Erika and Sophie took on the challenge and now I’m 100% sure they look forward to «Sophie time» everyday!!! Motley Crew is so easy to work with and they spent an amazing amount of time with my one extremely stubborn dog who is now excited to go out for walks everyday !! They post pictures and always write little update notes so you know who did what while they were out! I am going to keep using Erika and Sophie even now that I am recovered because I can see how happy my little boys are and I know they truly love their mid day walk time as well as I just am so thankful for Erika and Sophie I don’t know what I would have done without them!!!

Erika has been an invaluable help to us. I have to leave my dog for long periods of time during the working week. This is a source of great anxiety for me. It’s a huge relief to know that this time can be broken up by Erika visits and the warmth those entail. The only downside is that I suspect my dog now prefers Erika to me! I have no hesitation in recommending Erika to anyone looking for a super dog-​walker.

Erika is my hero. She’s taken our socially challenged dog and turned her into a functional member of doggy society. The Motley Crew gang not only hits all the regular dog walk service points — affordable pricing, flexibility, and quality of care — but also provides real companionship for your pooch. Wombat loves Erika — of that we have no doubt!

I leave for work each day without having to worry about my sweet little puppy, Bean, staying home alone because I know how much fun he has when Erika comes to pick him up for his walks and dog park visits during the day.
I joke with friends that she’s actually my dog photographer — my coworkers see me sneaking glimpses of Facebook and Instagram to see her daily photos of all the dogs playing together. I get excited when I see the photos of my little Bean running around and playing at the park. Then when I get home, she has always left a detailed note of how the day went.
From the start I felt comfortable working with Erika. She came to the house before her first walk with Bean to meet him and asked me about what commands he knows (I had only had him for 4 weeks at that point, and it was GREAT that he was getting consistent reinforcement with her for the training I was doing with him). Bean took to Erika immediately, her extensive experience working with dogs showed right away.

Erika is great. My schedule changes all the time and she has been great at walking my dog, Bear last minute. It’s so great to know she is there!
She leaves me notes every time she sees Bear, and the highlight of my busy days at the office are when I log into Facebook and see his face as she takes pictures of him too on each walk!
I can totally depend on her and it’s just such a nice feeling! I highly recommend Motley Crew!!!

Erika is GREAT! She’s reliable and responsive, and goes above and beyond for the dogs in her care. I highly recommend her!

Erika is amazing. She takes care of our rat terrier Maddie for park trips a few days a week and overnight boarding at her house when we go out of town. Maddie loves her! She is happy and exhausted when I get home on park days. It relieves all my guilt for working late knowing those are her favorite days. Erika posts photos from park days on facebook so I can see what Maddie was up to. She also leaves a note and gathers the mail. This year we did construction on our house and Erika climbed dirt embankments, snuck through our neighbors yard, and jumped over drying concrete to get to Maddie. All with no complaints.
One time after dropping Maddie off from boarding her for 5 days, I didn’t respond to her texts for a few hours. Erika was so worried we didn’t make it home in time, she came back over to check on Maddie.
Erika is reliable, flexible, easy to talk to and clearly loves dogs. Sometimes I worry Maddie would rather go home with her, but hey, that means Motley Crew is the best choice we could have made.

Erika has dog sat for us and does a great job. We have a few dogs and they all get the attention and walks we could hope for with a sitter.
The dogs enjoy seeing her so that must tell us something and she is very reliable.
