Very professional, knowledgeable, and timely. Robert explained that our current system was held together with tape and it was on its last leg. Due to the previous owner disregard for installation that met code, He would be unable to repair existing system.
His crew were timely in the installation and Preston even went beyond to clean up some damage installation in the attic and made a minor repair to our roof. This is what a true professional does — goes above and beyond to make the customer happy.
Thanks to the Team at Secure Comfort, our house has been this comfortable since we moved in over 5 years ago.

Our company ask Robert to gives us an estimate to install a ductless system for offices in Kirkland. He came, met with the one of the supervisor. He quoted us $ 10,000.00 for the job, even though we already had purchased the equipment. Everything was explained to him that we were looking for a labor only estimate. We had other estimates for about $ 3,000.00. We decided not to go with him and then things got very bizarre. He decide then to charge us for the estimate, even though he told us that it was a free. Have we known that it would cost us, we would not have him come. It is customary for contractors to provide free estimate. Things got even uglier, he started to demand payment. He starting to bully us and told us that his uncle worked for the city of Kirkland as a building inspector and that he would be calling him to stop our remodeling. We had proper permits. So, I hope that you stay away from this contractor, so you don’t get bullied!

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Robert was very professional — he called to ask if he could come early for our appointment. When a problem was found he showed me the problem, explained it thoroughly and gave me options. He gave us what I thought was a very fair price up front before any work was done and completed the job in only a few hours. I am very happy with the repair and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Wish I had read the reviews here prior to my second attempt at scheduling Robert to come give us an estimate on a heat pump. Would have saved me a lot of time.
First, Robert was supposed to be at our home at 4pm. At about 7:00pm he finally called and said he was leaving Bellevue headed for Everett. I was in no mood to wait any further but understand that sometimes these things happen to contractors. I was willing to be home the next day between 4−5pm. As I write this, its 5:50pm and he’s yet to arrive or call. I left work at 3:30 to be here in case he was on time. Shame on me. This screams that my time has no value to him. He won’t be in business long. Don’t waste your time — call someone else.

Avoid loss of money, loss of time, aggravation… bypass this company. Robert Alexander and his buddy installed a furnace that is over sized for size of home… in other words, I paid more money for a system that will work so hard that its life expectancy is cut in half, the combustion air intake piping is sized incorrectly, the condensation drain line empties into the basement sump, introducing acid in the pump which will ultimately destroy the pump (I’ve already had to replace it), and the exhaust vent in improperly installed (a health and safety issue). Upon finding a leak, I called them back to find Alexander’s buddy wiping his thumb across the leaking joint with putty to stop the leak NOT FIX IT. I have sent them a letter requesting remediation and have heard nothing back.
I am now going through American Standard to have a completely new heating system installed.
Furthermore, if you are a woman, be very careful. He walked into my home, not invited and stood at the doorway and completely blocking the doorway while a wrote a check menacingly. I asked him to leave, he would not.
Very very negative experience.

I was having issues with my furnace pushing out warm air rather than hot air. I called Secure Comfort and Robert picked up so I explained to him that I had a Furnace factory recommended shop come out and replace my filter and they switched something to make the furnace more «efficient». Robert was more than happy to come out look at my furnace and accommodate my schedule and stopped by after 6pm. He came and realized my service place had switched down my furnace temperature. he fixed it at no Charge after checking under the house and checking the vents to make sure everything else was good.
I would definitely use them again next time.

The owner, Robert, finally called us back this week after seeing our Unilocal review. He apologized for his company’s handling of our business and explained the circumstances surrounding it. We don’t think the company was intentionally trying to double charge us. A phone call to us in the weeks and months that followed would have avoided a complaint by us.

The heat in my house stopped working, so I submitted a search for service on serviceMagic (now called homeAdvisor) and received a phone call from Robert within minutes. On that site, Secure Comfort had a 4.5÷5 rating with 64 reviews, and I did a quick Unilocal search and found they also had a 4.5÷5 rating there — the highest of the 6 companies I was looking at. We set up a initial visit that same day! (Friday) He diagnosed the part in the furnace that was malfunctioning, and we set an appt for the next business day. Monday morning he came out with an assistant to install the new part and discovered that the manufacturer of the new part had changed the part a bit (the furnace was 20 years old). A couple of phone calls later, the part was installed correctly and my heat was back on.

this company wasted my time. Robert showed up was nice but told me his partner is in another town and it would be another 45min, every time I asked a question Robert stepped in and answered for his partner. after feeling these guys out I decided to go with another bid I got and Robert tried to get me to sign a contract to do the work. When I told him I still have one more Free estimate He said that will be $ 60. + tax for his verbal estimate and left with a attitude because I did not sign a contract for him to do the work.
Very unprofessional, I was not impressed with his fancy truck or him not having the proper personal at my home with a prescheduled time to meet.
I would not recommend this guy at all.
He acted like he was the only one that could do the work.
I had the work done by a much more customer friendly contractor that did a great job, for a better price with no pressure and they even showed up on time with great feedback.
Beware of these guys!!!
