Discount Tire Store – Bellevue, WA

I was very satisfied with their tire repair service, which I made an appointment for after I got a flat tire from a screw I drove over. The guys were friendly, I was out within an hour, and they didn’t try to sell me tires I didn’t need. When I was sitting waiting, I wondered why they didn’t give me a price quote before they did the repair. When it was done, they handed me the receipt and walked away to get my car, without collecting payment — because the service was free!
I wish they could get the strong tire smell out of the waiting area, but I know that this would be impossible, since it is a tire store after all.

I came for free air pressure and I was told that it will take 10 – 15 mins (usually it takes less than minute and this was first time they told me that I have to check in inside). After 45 minutes I picked up my keys since it didn’t looked like they’ll touch my car any time soon. This was very unprofessional and I’m very disappointed with them.
Just to make it clear, I understand that this is free service. But it is their decision to offer it for free. I’m returning paying customer and I wouldn’t even mind to pay for air pressure service. I come here for convenience and speed of service, not because it is for free. I’m pissed of since they:
1. Don’t treat customers who are there for air pressure equally. This is their problem — they should either cancel the free service or make it paying service
2. They gave me terrible time estimate. If I was told that it will take an hour or so for air pressure, I would leave immediately and probably come another time.

Came in right at opening @ 8:00 am. Was told 6 cars ahead of me it would be 90 minutes. Finally got out of there at 9:45.
Came in for a very, very slow leak. They found a screw in the tire and fixed it for free.

This used to be my favorite place to buy tires for two cars. Today I am frustrated at having to wait 15 min to check in for an appt made earlier in the week to install a special order set that cost
$ 1100. Been waiting 45 min and no movement of my car, will be late for my next appt. most likely my last purchase here. Never had issues with appts before. Things have gone downhill here.

This place regularly provides decent service, however, they severely under delivered on customer service this time. Came into the store a couple days ago due to a TPMS light. Turns out my tire needed a nail repair. They were busy, and asked me to make an appointment later in the week. I arrive at the appointment time, and they tell me it’s a 90 minute wait. They justify it saying it would be a three hour wait without an appointment. Are you joking? That would be like making a dinner reservation for 7:30pm, and showing up to find out they can seat you at 9:00pm. Not a restaurant I would frequent. Get you act together Discount Tire, you can do a lot better.

Professional, competent, fast, and well priced; as far as a tire store goes, Discount Tire is all you need.
Definitely get the care package, one blown/​punctured tire alone is enough to justify the price. Also do their free tire rotations periodically: essential to extend the life of the tire.

I’ve been here a few times before and service has always been good, but today it was great! Jack helped me track down the tires (odd size and staggered) I need for my Crossfire and when I came in to have them installed today he went above and beyond!!! He saved me a lot of money and I really appreciate everything he did to help.

Welp. needed to use a certificate due to a strange bulge in the sidewall of my tire. Not an issue. Was easy, no hoops to jump through. Just a 45 minute wait as they are quite busy, but I was told up front.

I’ve had my tires with Discount Tire for about a year now and I am very happy that I chose to buy through them. My last experience with Firestone ended terribly (like dangerous workmanship terribly) so we shopped around before settling here.
First off we wanted a higher quality tire than what was in stock so we found ones we liked on
, they matched the price and shipped them straight to the store. Since that time I had one small puncture that they fixed right up (in and out of the door in 35 minutes).
The service is quick and convenient and there is a large waiting area to hang out in while they are servicing the car. You definitely feel like you are getting good value and quality and not being sold mediocre tires at a high price to cover the service.

The service is just like how everyone says it is. Reliable and affordable. However when I got a punctured tire and went in for a review they told me that the tire was not repairable due to the vehicle riding on a flat. What they didn’t know was this was a slow leak and the car was not moved while it had a puncture in the tire. The Les Schwab one block away fixed it for me and patched it up. I know that Discount Tires were just trying to make money but I wish they could be mor honest about it and actually give the tire a full inspection instead of telling me it was not repairable at a moments glance.

I made an appointment online (which takes seconds) so I didn’t have to wait when I got there. I went there for a tire leak. I told the technician all of my concerns and they triple checked everything for me. Staffs are just so knowledgeable and friendly!

I went to Les Schwab because I had an issue with my tire constantly deflating. I knew my tires were close to needing to be replaced but Les Schwab quoted me their standard tire at $ 1200 for a set. I thought that sounded really expensive so I went over to Discount Tire since they were about a block away and they were $ 500 less for a similar performance all season tire. I am glad they are down the street from Les Schwab. Hopefully they keep each other competitive but hey $ 500 back in my pocket is a good thing. Service was good and I was starving and they told me about a food truck down the street. I am so glad they did.

These guys are great. Hands down, they understand any special requests and accommodate them where ever possible.
The store has good prices on quality tires. Sure you can save about $ 40 going online, but you don’t have a store full people willing to take care of you in less than an hour in most cases.
It’s cliché but my family has been buying tires from this store for the last 15 years. Always a positive experience. That’s 9 cars between my parents, brother, sister in-​law, my wife and myself. We have likely bought over 100 tires from these guys, between normal replacement and winter tires.

Had to take the car in to have a tire replaced due to a nail in the lower portion of the sidewall, went to the Redmond location. Noticed they reballanced all 4 wheels despite there being less then 200 miles on the tires and only having to get 1 tire replaced due to the nail.
I noticed prior to the nail in the tire an interesting vibration at certain speeds prior to that but initially attributed it to various highway pavement conditions. Apparently the Bel-​Red location couldn’t dial that in either.

I wish I knew about this place after spending so much money at next door’s Les Schwab. Les Schwab sold me low-​quality tires and refused to replace them after only driving 300 miles, claiming it was my own fault for not checking in with them. Okay…
When I told my auto shop, Strictly BMW about this, they told me that they recommend all their customers go to Discount Tire Store instead. I wish I had known that all along because Discount Tires does not try to oversell any of their products and is downright honest with me. If I don’t need the most expensive tires, they will say so. If I don’t need my two front wheels to be replaced, they won’t try to sell two more tires to me unlike Les Schwab.
The service is quick, too. And they will e-​mail me when it’s time to refill my tire pressure or rotate my tires. I won’t shop for tires anywhere else.
The only bummer is that they’re closed on Sundays.

My wife bought tires for her car last week. It is an expensive care and takes special wheels and tires. They replaced the tires and everything was fine — the price, the service, etc. Three days later, a warning light went on about a loss in tire pressure. My wife did not know what to do and did not even know what it was.
Bottom line is that I took it back in and discovered that Discount Tire had performed the exact service and inflated the tires exactly as they should have. Because we have larger wheels than the ones that come stock on the car, there is a differential between what the factory says and what these larger tires require. They nor I realized this at the time.
Nonetheless, they took every tire off, checked it and put the right amount of pressure in the tires. They also checked with their quality assurance people to make sure they got it right — and got back to me the next day with the solution.
They did everything within their power to make this right and to do it with a smile on their face. I felt like I was in great hands and they really cared about me and fixing the problem — not just enough to have me go away.
I am extremely satisfied with getting excellent tires, excellent prices and especially excellent service. Will buy all my future tires at this store.

These guys are polite, professional, fast, and I got the best deal in town.

What amazing service! I had a puncture from running over some crap on the freeway, and my poor little car limped into their store on a Monday afternoon.
I spoke to Joe and he was really professional. He measured the depth of the tire grooves and made some recommendations. I ended up with some pretty good tires (Yokohamas) and he pointed out that they were doing a promotion now so there’d be a rebate as well. Score!
Then all I had to do was hang out in the waiting room until they were done. There’s free coffee/​cold water from the fridge, and free wifi, so that wasn’t a problem at all. Although there seemed to be a bit of a line and there were about 6 – 7 other people waiting for their cars, the line moved reasonably quickly, with a mechanic coming in every couple of minutes to let someone know that their car was all done.
The only reason DTS doesn’t get five stars is because they had an inventory fail, where I had paid for four tires and it turned out they only had three in stock. But not to worry, Joe jumped in his car and went to another DTS to pick up the other tire so I could have all four of them (instead of three new ones and one gimpy old tire, plus having to come back another day). It did take a bit longer than anticipated but it was worth it.
Overall I felt like DTS did well to minimize the frustrations that come with discovering your tires are flat, and their prices weren’t unreasonable. Plus with free tire rotations every 6,000 miles from any of their locations, I’ll be back.

Got some new wheels for my Subaru!
The whole process here was quick and friendly. Everyone I spoke with had a «can do» attitude and went above and beyond to help me out.
I came in looking for new wheels for my Subaru and had a couple options I was looking at. I spoke with James and he was very helpful. He gave me some prices and didn’t pressure me at all. I took a couple days to decide then called back and ordered the wheels I wanted since they didn’t have them in stock. They called me when the wheels came in and set up an appointment.
When I had the wheels put on I realized I had forgotten to have them order black lug nuts to go with the black wheels. They were nice enough to order them for me and didn’t even charge me, I really appreciated that. I came back in a couple days later and as I was parking one of the employees came up to me and asked if I was getting the black lugs put on, now that’s service! They quickly swapped out the lugs and I was on my way.
From the beginning to the end I had a great experience here and I would recommend them to anyone.
