I would of loved to give Omar and staff 10 stars. The food was excellent. The crew was quick and quiet setting up they were so friendly and nice wish I could remember there names. The presentation was beautifully done we never ran out of food I would recommend them 100% made my sons wedding perfect Thank you so much

Omar and Delanny put on a delightfully tasteful meal for a rehearsal dinner. They were timely, courteous and the food was plentiful, varied and delicious. They listened well to the requests for food discussed when we did our initial order. The setup was flawless and their personalities helped put everyone at ease. We would recommend them for any occasion.

Omar, Dallanny AND their team are amazing. Everyone at my wedding loved the food, the horchata, watermelon & pineapple juice are to die for! So fresh and delicious. They were quick to refill anything that was beginning to go low, very very friendly and helpful with any questions anyone may have asked. We are beyond happy with the food and service overall. Especially happy with how happy our family and friends were! I will be recommending Taco Bar Catering to anyone and everyone that is looking for caterers for any type of event.
Also, they helped getting all of our chinaware and glassware for the bar. Just simply amazing!

Omar, Dellanny, and the rest of the crew are first rate. And, their tacos are killer! We had them cater our daughters’ and niece’s joint graduation party. They were very accommodating given the fact that I had only booked them less than a week of the event.
The team arrived on time and quickly set up to serve our guests. They were professional, friendly, and helpful. We had ordered food for 75 guests and nothing was a disappointment. The pastor was the highlight of the 3 meats (pastor, asada, and pollo). The included condiments were plentiful and delicious. The corn tortillas themselves were very good.
We had hired them for 2 hours of service. After that, they left all of the food behind so that our party guests could enjoy themselves later. Everything was re-​filled before they left so no one left hungry!
Book these guys the next time you need your event catered!

Taco Bar catered my niece’s graduation party. I was a guest, and make no judgments about the price or the value of the catering. It was certainly timely, always a major factor. The two servers were quite friendly and helpful.
The tacos offered were apparently of the «street» variety, with small, moist, double corn tortillas, and trays with three types of meat fillings. The fillings were good. I do not remember any shredded lettuce or shredded cheese to top off the tacos, though.
There were peppers, chopped onions, tomatoes and lettuce in trays, as though for salad makings. Next to them were trays of the obligatory rice and beans. Plus, a tray of jalapeño peppers, one of which a guest bit into, not expecting the fiery taste. Milk, lots of milk seemed to calm things down eventually.
At one point during the festivities, flour tortillas with a smidgeon of cheese smeared on them were offered as quesadillas. They would be judged wholly inadequate in any Mexican restaurant I know of. The tortillas tasted very good, though, without needing any cheese filling.
The guacamole, if indeed it was that, was more like avocado-​flavored ranch dressing, not the chunky substance I have grown to love. Perhaps it was ordered this way.
My observations are simply that. Perhaps the food was exactly as ordered. I would probably order something different, but then again, it wasn’t my party.
My rating for Taco Bar Catering is A-​OK.

He and his crew came all the way out to Burlingame from Campbell, arrived on time, set up shop and went to town. His crew was friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing… I’m not sure what more you can expect. The party (of 120 or so people) was nearly a month ago and I am still receiving rave reviews from my guests about the food. Definitely calling Omar next time I get married…

I originally booked with Five Star Taco for our daughter’s first birthday and worked with Miguel. Contract process and phone discussions went well overall. Total price was very reasonable & competitive for almost 50 adults and 25 young kids. Included in the fee were three types of taco meats, chips and salsa, plates, napkins, utensils (We paid extra for rice & beans. Our quote also baked in an extra travel fee since we live in Dublin). Taco Bar actually came out and Omar explained to me that Miguel is his brother, that they load share, and that he is trying to promote his own company as well. For a millisecond, i was taken aback but it really was not an issue. Any reservation I had, I got over it fairly quickly as Omar and his staff arrived on time, were very courteous, extremely professional, and the food was terrific. Many of the guests complimented on the food, noted how full they were from their 2^nd servings, and there was no meat left over! We also had vegetarians and Omar made sure to cook the vegetables in separate part of his grill. I would definitely use Taco Bar again.
My only recommendation would be for Miguel or Omar to consider informing their customers ahead of time as some customers may want to know. Also if you have concrete or pavers, you might want to ask them to use a mat as we had some oil drops.

It was a last-​minute-​decision to have this at our family reunion and Omar made it happen. They were incredibly efficient, the staff was wonderful and the food was fresh and delicious. I would certainly use them again.
