I’ve been bringing both our family cars here for 10 years and I would never go any where else.
ALWAYS: professional, courteous, honest, reasonably priced and fast.
They have always made time for me when I drop in with a nail in my tire AND they always try and find ways to offer discounts if they can.

I recently needed to replace all 4 tires on my BMW. After getting a quote from BMW for run flat tires and from a few other independent places I called Goodyear on Miramar Road. I dealt with the Manager — Luis — who is super friendly and highly professional. The price was the best (the price quoted on the phone was exactly what I paid at the end of the day). He scheduled an appointment for me the following day and they were ready to work right as I arrived. Everything went smooth and I will definitely be back in the future for my other vehicles. Always a pleasure to deal with honest and straightforward people. Thank you Luis!

Tonight…
They saved me! Our tire ran flat on the way back from dinner, and it was super late… half hour after their closing time… but they made it happen, fixing the tire for free. It made me feel great to be a regular customer of theirs.

I took my car for an oil change and thought they did a really good job. They rotated my tires with the oil change and topped off my fluids. I thought the price was reasonable. while they rotated my tires they noticed my front tire was flat and did an inspection on it. Come to find out, I had a big slit. He then told me he also checked the alignment for free and would recommend I get new tires and then get the allignment done. After my service I took my car to Costco and the members there confirmed my tires were bad and it was prematurely balding my tires and throwing off the allignment. I appreciate honest business. So I will be back and would recommend this place.

— I went there cause i saw a coupon for an oil change and free tire rotation so I called to see if I needed an appointment. I made one for that day and showed up on time. The guy at the counter tells me it will be 62 $ for the change with the coupon. (seems a little high even though synthetic is more expensive) but hey whatever I drove down there so I agree and he tells me 1hr and 45min and it should be done… I laughed and thought he was kidding. He definitely wasn’t.
–about an hour goes by i get a call from the manager saying I need two new tires in the front. They were rotating my tires and found the inner walls to be cracked and in very poor shape (thats what they said). I told them I have 6 months left on my lease and I didn’t want to get in to deep money wise. The manager on the phone told me my back two tires were still in good shape and all i needed was 2 new ones. I asked how much for basic (low model) tires. again i explained i wanted cheaper tires cause I am giving the car back in 6 months. He told me 367 $ for 2 tires… the cheap ones…
–I told the manager on the phone that was extremely pricey and i didn’t want them to change tires, Just the oil change for 62 $ was all i needed. I thanked him for pointing out my tires were bad and assured him I could get a better price from costco or discount tire.
–He became a little frustrated and then said «how about 300 $ out the door?» Again. I told him that seems very pricey considering the last pair of tires i bought were about 450 $ for everything at COSTCO. I again, thanked him for his time, but 300 was way too much for just 2 basic cheap tires.
— After he huffed and puffed a bit, he then said «how about 226 $ out the door?» I agrees to 226. How we went from 367 down to 226 in about 30 seconds is beyond me.
–another hour goes by still no car. 2hr 30 min after my initial appointment my car is ready and they ask me to come to the counter to pay. The manager (same guy i talked to on the phone) tells me it is going to be 335 $. I look at him and say «Hey man you told me 226 $ out the door. That is the price i agreed to» 226 $ + 62 $(that was including all taxes and fees) for an oil change is 288 $ not 335.
–he plays with the computer and then says «the best I can do is 315 $». I am baffled and immediately tell him no, here is 288 $ cash and thats what we agreed on.
–another employee comes and they snicker at me and then he plays with the computer and goes «ok man 288 $ it is). I hand him the cash and go on my way.
*** 2 days after i get 2 new tires my «low tire pressure» light comes on my dash. I check it with a gauge and both of my tires are at 30psi. The tire is supposed to be 44psi.
–What service center doesn’t offer a good standard price up front? When i go to costco to buy tires there is just a set price. Here they came down about 40% in price when i simply said that was too much.
–i asked the manager why they didn’t have set prices and how can the price drop that much as soon as i showed resistance. he became flustered and was like «I uh was adding the warranty of 22 $ a tire» I said ok 88 $ off of 367 isn’t 226. He became very quiet and was trying to get me out of there asap.
WHAT A RIP OFF THIS PLACE IS. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING HERE. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME WHEN I SAY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I was in the area when we got a flat. It was a piece of wood that punctured the tire. Being a Sunday every other tire repair shop was closed. I’ll never understand this. Why would you be closed when most other working class people have the weekend off so they can go get their cars repaired??? Anyways, they fixed my tire and changed out the spare for a very fair price. They even checked all the pressure and all four tires. All in 20 min back on the road. Cheers for going the extra mile being open on Sundays. I would not hesitate to go back.

Walked in from the parking lot on a Saturday afternoon where one employee was outside on his phone, laughing it up. Saw us enter the door and left us waiting. Service bays were open and not a single customer in the waiting room, and the blonde employee still failed to acknowledge that there were customers waiting on him. Get a clue, or find another job.
Kudos to another employee who approached us after we had walked out, he asked the blondie if he took care of us already and he just ignored him, chatting on his phone. He must’ve already sold all the tires In the shop that morning.

I love this place! I came here when my tire blew out about a year ago and I needed new tires. The staff here were incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding of the fact that I have an old car and a tight budget and gave me a great deal on some tires and some other repairs and maintenance my car needed. Now whenever I have car troubles this is the first place I go, and I consistently get excellent customer service and fair prices for whatever I need done.

I purchased my tires about a year ago. The price was very good considering the other companies I shopped. The service was normal and to the point. They tried to upswell but that’s their job so no worries I don’t take it personal. Over all great price for oil change n tire rotation.

Had a flat tire on my bike and was leaking quick. I popped in hoping to see if they could patch. Seems like tire stores in general don’t patch motorcycle tires anymore but after talking to Jeremy I got it set straight. He told me to buy the repair kit from the am/​pm and then without asking him to do so he ended up showing me how use the kit by just repairing my tire, all pro bono mind you. If I had a car I know where I’d go and to who I’d call. Great service!

Great service with a 5 $ discount?! YES PLEASE! Jeremy was a huge help with questions and concerns. He let us know about future probloms so we could plan accordingly and nothing was a surprise in a bad way. I mentioned i found them through Unilocal and they gave us a discount! Thanks guys!

Dan is a horrific manager. He is abusive towards the employees and curt with customers. Moreover, he will not allow nor will he set appointments with customers who are from the middle east. He will openly refer to people from these countries as ‘taliban’. If they persist in setting an appointment, he will overquote the price in an effort to send them elsewhere. Someone should contact the NAACP as this man is evidently unaware of the Civil Rights Act. There are many other places that someone could go and treated respectfully and fairly. This place is not it.

I have been bringing my cars and work fleet vehicles here for over 3 years. As a former Technician and service advisor I can say with-​out a doubt that these guys are not only fair but they are straight shooters no bull no games

This location is the only place and Dan is the only person I have come to since 2012.

Got a flat at Torrey Pines Reserve. Yelled FUCK! in front of a little kid. Looked up tire shops in the area and found Goodyear, among many others. This one was open Sundays and had some good reviews. Fixed my flat for free and sent me on my way. Sweet.

Wouldn’t say anything special. Went in to get two tires, tried to upsell on 500 worth of repairs. Typical auto shop trying to get thiers while caring less about original request. Misquoted pickup time by 45 minutes. Been here a few times trying to give benefit of the doubt, but I will be looking elsewhere next time I need tires.

Horrible service! Deceptive business practice. We had a coupon for an oil change and once we got there the oil needed for the card was a different weight so instead of an additional change like the coupon stated we were charged full price. What a rip off. Even fast change oil change places charged less. Also they added on a oil cleaner solution which was not requested.
When to another Goodyear location on Sunday and when I said I had a coupon they then said «You will need an appointment for an oil change.» When I looked at the bays there was only one car in there and it was over two hours before they closed.
This must be their business practice to lure unsuspecting customers in and hit them with an appointment when a coupon is used or they just love this bad business practice.
Should have thought twice after my bad experience with the Clairemont location. Fooled me twice and this is the last time I will ever take my car or recommend Goodyear to my friends. My enemies maybe.

MARK IS THE MAN!
Mark is very knowledgeable in what he does as a mechanic and takes the time to explain everything about your car that you need to know. I came in because my front left and right rear tires constantly released air and I was tired of having to inject air at the gas stations. There were nails in them at places where I couldn’t patch it up, so I knew I had to replace the. Mark was in the mechanic’s area and greeted me very warmly. A lot of people who don’t know anything about cars will get intimidated coming into a mechanic shop. But Mark was very understanding and checked my car for free and gave me a diagnosis.
Turns out, my other two wheels have tread wear on them from not re-​aligning them every 6 months. As a result, my wheel surfaces were not making contact with the ground evenly, which isn’t good. So Mark explained to me the two options I had: 1) get the realignment and change two tires, but i’ll most likely have to replace the other two tires in the future OR 2) change all four tires and a realignment plan. The plan was to get unlimited re-​alignmetnts for 3 years for only $ 139. He was not pushy or selling me services like a car salesman at all. He was very concise with his explanations and gave me a free tire for having GoodYear tires already!
The wait was a big longer than what I was told, but he apologized because they didn’t want to rush any services on my car. I came out with more knowledge about my car maintenance and did not feel ripped off like some other places do. Great job Mark! I definitely would come back to this GoodYear store for future services.

Free flat repair and free rotation. Definitively will buy tires here. They have good prices and great service.

Ask for Josh, he’s a good guy. They know what they are doing when it comes to tires. He gave me a good deal on the tires I wanted and printed out all of the possible sizes that fit my car so I could decide, very patient and knowledgeable.
