Alexander and Hanna were absolutely wonderful to work with! Both were so friendly and professional and we hit it off right away. They were extremely responsive to all of our emails, questions, etc. which put us at ease with all the other things going on with planning a wedding. They were very conscience with keeping us within our budget and that is a huge plus! On our wedding day they showed up early and were patient while some of the last minute setup was being done. They were very efficient when it came to the photos in terms of gathering family, friends and the wedding party which was nice as we wanted to be able to spend time with our guests. The photos themselves are incredible! They captured every element of our wedding perfectly! We would highly recommend them to anyone for any occasion!

The best photographers ever! Hanna and Alexander were the most amazing photographers we could have ever chosen for our engagement photos and wedding day. We were initially very sticker shocked when searching for our wedding photographer, but thankfully a friend recommended First and Orange. Not only did they meet our budget, but the photos were extraordinary and exceeded all expectations!
We had not one, but two photographers to capture every moment of our special day. They also had the quickest turnaround of any wedding photographer I have ever heard of — we received a sneak peak of 20 photos from our wedding the NEXT DAY. My friends who had been married months earlier had not even seen one photo from their photographer, and were so jealous that literally hours after our event, we could relive the special moments through First and Orange’s photos!
If you need any other reason to hire Hanna and Alexander, you will get truly laid back and social young professionals to hang out with during your most special moments to create the best photos possible. I am a nonprofit professional, I can’t tell you how many quiet or socially awkward photographers I have worked with to photograph events. This is so not the case with Hanna and Alexander, and it makes a huge difference. When they are genuinely making you laugh or helping you find the best pose by demonstrating how to «find noses» you are getting a better picture and lifetime memory as a result.
Their customer service is also above and beyond. After our initial engagement shoot, I was really disappointed we didn’t capture a beach photo from one our secret spots on Sunset Cliffs. I let Hanna know, and without hesitation, she scheduled a short reshoot. I am so glad they were flexible and open to making sure we were 100% happy with our photos. In the end we got our perfect shot for our save the dates with the sun setting on the beach. I just can’t recommend them enough and their beautiful work speaks for itself.

We found out about First and Orange through one of my friends. Initially I was a little hesitant to go with them because they had only been in the wedding industry for a few years, however, my doubts were unfounded. Our pictures turned out amazing!
Hanna and Alexander were both easy going and a pleasure to work with and my husband and I could not be more happy with the finished products.
It was also nice to have two photographers at the day of our event since Alexander was able to take pictures of the wedding party and Hanna was able to take pictures of our guests at cocktail hour. The wedding party did not get to partake in the cocktail hour so it is nice to see how things turned out through the photos.
They knew we were anxious to see pictures and we were able to get a sneak peak a day after the wedding! fastest turn around time ever.
In terms of packages, they are very flexible and allow you to customize your package and payment options.
Hanna was also very helpful in providing insight into the day of time line and always easy to contact. Even though there are cheaper photographers, I believe that you get what you pay for and would recommend First and Orange to any of our friends and family.

We could not have hoped to find a better duo to take our engagement and wedding pictures.
They are so fun and professional and we had an amazing time taking photos with them… and trust me it can get tiring after a long day! They are so upbeat and happy and were genuinely enjoying taking our photos.
I am so grateful that they turned their love and talent into a business because now we have hundreds of stunning photos forever to relive each beautiful moment. This business of theirs is only going to thrive more and more and I am so happy about that! I have recommended them to several people and when the time comes when we need to take professional photos again… we will be contacting First and Orange! They gave us such a variety of pictures… some artsy and fun, some sentimental and private, and some of the whole family and silly ones of everyone on the dance floor.
It is effortless taking pictures with them… they make you feel like every photo they are snapping is the best one and they truly made us feel confident and excited in front of the camera. They gave us full rights to print as many pictures as we wanted and that is not always the case with other photographers. They are priced very reasonably and they are pretty darn quick at getting the pictures back to you.
I knew when they put up with our two crazy & hyper puppies during our engagement shoot that they would do an amazing job on our wedding day. We are so thankful for the many pictures… I’m officially out of wall space to frame anymore! :) I literally loved every single picture they took and might have to buy a 3^rd photo album. Those are good problems to have if you ask me!

Alexander and Hanna are an amazing photography duo! They photographed our engagement pictures and took pictures on our wedding day — and ecstatic doesn’t come close to describing how happy I felt when seeing the pictures for the first time! When we first met them — they instantly made us feel at ease (and I always think I’m awkward)!
They have an amazing eye for detail! They took pictures that left me thinking — how do they even spot those moments and have the perfect timing to get the shot?! They really took the time to capture the moments and emotion that happened all throughout the day — like my husband’s nephew playing air guitar on the dance floor and my new husband’s arm around my chair! But on top of that, we really had fun! It’s those moments that I have on (digital) film that I know I will never forget thanks to the two of them!
The best part? After our wedding, they stayed up to give us a sneak peek THAT NIGHT! It was amazing for us to wake up as newly weds and be able to relive those moments. They are now our go-​to photographers for all our life events!

These guys are fantastic photographers! They have a great eye for what looks good and they know how to bring that vision of theirs to life in their photos. They make you feel comfortable, which makes for very natural looking shots. They work so well together and have really great ideas. I would highly recommend them!

First off, I am not photogenic or very comfortable in front of a camera, but these two made me feel relaxed, made me laugh, and hey, even made me look good! :] They are fabulous photographers and work so well together bouncing ideas off each other and making the overall experience absolutely wonderful!

I have had the blessing to work with First and Orange twice. Once for my engagement photos and another time for my wedding. Both times my (now) husband and I were extremely impressed by their professional attitudes as well as their dedication to taking our photos. My husband and I also had an extremely fun day of just hanging out with them when we took our engagement photos.
