History

Established in 2009.

During these strenuous times, due to extenutating circumstances pet parents have in their lives, I’m here to step in and take over some of the burden you feel when not having the time to care for your pets. With many years of experience volunteering and having pets of my own, I know the importance of spending quailty time with our pets is essential. So, here I am taking my love and passion I have for animals, and sharing it with your family and your pets providing loving care every step of the way.

Hi my name is Diana and since childhood I’ve always nurtured all kinds of animals. While all the little kids were off playing tag, and/​or hide and seek, I was out looking to see what pets I could bring home. Of course my mother never approved of the frogs, salamanders and insects, and we never had room for all the strays I would want to bring home either.

This brings me to the place I’m at now. The love that resides deep in my heart is ready to spill over to my new pet friends and families. I feel every animal is a gift from God. Everyday, they are waiting with joy until you get home from your stressful day to give you plenty of their endless loyalty and unconditional love. They too deserve that same kind of attention from their pet parents.

Heart 2 Heart’s Diana is so good with difficult animals, I have referred no fewer than 5 friends to her and have met some of the pets myself and found them to be hard to control. Diana is able to handle them with ease and make friends with the pets in order to make them comfortable. She is truly a pet whisperer

Diana helped with my puppy for about 6 mos. She was amazing and treated my dog as if it was her own.
Although I had not met her prior to doing business with her, I quickly grew to completely trust Diana & left her keys to my apt and never once worried about her not taking care of my dog with the same love and compassion as I gave.
She’s a fantastic person and will do a wonderful job for you and your pet!

Diana is simply the best! There is no doubt that Winston receives the best care available with her. Her love and passion for her her career shows in the quality of care she provides to her clients.
I’ve left Winston with her many times, and I can go out of town or work without even worrying a bit about him. She’s helped us out more than once in last minute situations, where she’s always gone the extra mile to make sure Winston was taken care of!
And she is so reliable, knowledgeable and just gifted. She is «THE PET NANNY» you need for your furry friend!

I feel conflicted about posting a comment because I want Diana all to myself… She really is that great! Penny (my very picky dog) and I LOVE her. She’s super sweet and caring :)
She provides a short form that you fill out to give her even more information about your pet, which I thought was a great idea. There are a lot of things you don’t really think of, especially with the stress of getting things together for a vacation, and the form helped make sure she got the information you would want her to have.
I’ve used Heart 2 Heart a couple times and was nervous the first time, since I had never left Penny with anyone she didn’t know… and Penny is usually not fond of other women. Surprisingly, she was very quickly following Diana around like she didn’t miss me one bit. Diana sent me a picture to show me that Penny was OK (I guess she knew I was one of those worried mothers).
I already «booked» her for a third trip I’m taking and I know Penny can’t wait to see her again.

Diana is a licensed and bonded professional with great rates! She has taken care of our English Bulldog for the past year while we have been on trips as short as one night and as long as 14 nights. She is flexible and is always very prompt to respond to our inquiries.
She is passionate about her work which is why we entrust her with our buddy. We always feel comfortable leaving our pet in Diana’s care.

Diana is amazing! I really think she speaks Dog or something. My basenjis (who are known to be the most untrainable, stubbon dogs) pretty much melt in her hand like putty when she takes care of them. They even «talk» to each other (again, I really think she speaks dog) with howling phrases, much like a yodel (at least that’s the best I can describe it.)
Diana’s prices are so reasonable, considering the quality of care she puts in. She would text me and let me know how my babies are doing so I would feel better about being away. She is very accommodating with my schedule and requests. She is professional and on top of things. I can always expect a call back within hours if I call.
I really miss having a good dog nanny, especially now that I am in San Francisco. But I know if I ever move back to San Diego, I know where I’ll be going.
