Just to make myself clear, it was I that didn’t like the service. Apparently, my sisters went back(because they love the pizza) however he recognized them from my review and said something to them and made them feel bad. However, they eventually told him that it wasn’t them that wrote the review. Still it was very unprofessional of him to just immediately point fingers at them smh. But just so HE knows, they had NOTHING to do with my review !!!

I’ve been to this place several times because the food is great not at all because of the service!!! The guys that work there are far from friendly and good luck getting a refill. Also make sure you don’t have anything questions about the menu because if you do they look at you like you’re crazy and seem very annoyed with you. My boyfriend and I would always tell ourselves to give it another try because we’re always up for a great pizza but we won’t be returning because service is very important to us and they lack tremendously in that area!

Yeah it’s bad when the guy who answers the phone sounds drunk and say’s «yeah I know it says we deliver but yeah we don’t». Argghh never fun when with friends and want to order a few pizzas.

DISGUSTING My wife just brought home 3 slices of retread pizza from here and its so disgusting and i am livid. Pizza that has been laying out for hours and reheated and dried out and disgusting and you take peoples money for this ? UNACCEPTABLE. A bunch of kids screwing around, not running a business. Thanks for ruining our evening. When pizza has been laying around you throw it out and make a new one you don’t serve people slices that are hours old. My options were to get dressed, drive all the way back to get my money back or throw it out. We threw it out and took the loss. Pizza has 4 ingredients, 1. Dough 2. Sauce 3. Cheeze 4. Time How difficult is it to make a 4 ingredient product ? Noone wants to bring home a fresh box and find slices that look like they have been in your fridge for 4 days. Just Gross.

Beware of food poisoning!!! I went here last night with two friends. Short dark haired server with NY accent was extremely rude to everyone in line. Scolded me for ordering a side of ranch with my pizza slice even though I was well aware there would be an extra charge. But we’re all pretty lighthearted and tried to joke that his abrasive rudeness was just part of the NY ambiance. So I get my slice of pizza and 20 minutes goes by and my friend never gets his food. People who ordered after us have already gotten their food and eaten. My friend goes to ask about his order since it may have been forgotten. The rude server gets into and argument with my friend and gives my friend a slice of OLD, COLDPIZZA and refuses to heat it up for him. My friend is starving at this point and eats the pizza anyway bc he already prepaid for it. That night he got violent food poisoning from the tainted pizza. I called the manager and was told that the owner would get in touch with us. No one had followed up. Will be reporting this place to the health department. Serving tainted food that will make customers sick completely illegal and immoral. It’s all too bad bc it was pretty cool that this place is open late — but not cool if they’re going to be serving spoiled food.

Nothing special on the pepperoni slice other than grease. Gotta dress it up with pepper and oregano and garlic salt. Crust is good. Big portion. Atmosphere is low key. All in all… just ok.

As a born and bred Brooklynite, allow me to set the record straight. This place deserves 5 stars for NYC style pizza in CA but for those looking for the elusive«authentic» NYC pizza, you’re only going to find it in NYC. My boyfriend and I(both recent transplants from NYC) recently dined in and ordered a half Central Park and half Empire State pie. On first bite, we agreed the pizza was delicious and definitely the closest to NYC style pizza we’ve had in LA so far. The red sauce especially was a stand out for me. Room for improvement? Yes. I found the crust was a bit under cooked and even while I sat there thoroughly relishing every bite, I couldn’t help but think, ‘these guys need to turn the oven up and get the crust a little crispier.’ Next time, I will ask the guys to cook the pizza a bit longer so it gets a bit blackened on the bottom. The service was great too — friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back whenever we need our NYC(ish) pizza fix!

I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews for this place! The pizza is amazing, the beer selection is great, and employees are dope(and by «the employees» I mean the black dude who’s always there. Coolest guy ever!)! Highly recommend for a late night slice and nightcap.

NY& C is our go-to neighborhood pizza joint. They have a great pizza special for beer drinkers and non-beer drinkers, pizza options for NY thin slice lovers and Chicago deep dish fans, and their garage knots and wings shouldn’t be overlooked. This is a casual place with a few different guys running the place so expect casual service and to see the bartender as the server, food runner and busser all in the same night.

Dined in yesterday with friends and Eddie took great care of us and was very professional and friendly. He made it a great first experience for us there even though they were very busy at the time. Will certainly be back

If there’s a better representation of NYC style slices on the«westside» we’ll meet up, I’ll pick you up in a limo, pay for everything and chauffeur you back home. There is no better spot, I’m confident of that! Get in here and enjoy the Santa Monica of yesteryear, hipster free, the game is always on, ice cold beer and killer slices. Wait, seriously, 2 cheese slices and a draft for $ 9.50! Or 2 cheese and a soda for $ 7.00. I have never ordered a full pie,(why would you do that?) or anything else, do they even have a regular menu? Slices. Slices. Slices. Yum.

Great pizza place in Santa Monica. I love the fact they are open super late. They also have late night delivery. If you are a person who enjoys great pizzas and salads you will enjoy what you order. If you are vegetarian to a meat love you will not go wrong with the pizzas you order. The staff here is super friendly and cares about their customers. I love the fact they are always on time when it comes to having your food. Not once I ever got my pizza cold.

Customers service was great, droved 22 miles to try this place out. I was interested in the Chicago style pizza deep dish because it smells so good. We ordered a Chicago style pizzacalled the Windy City, it comes with sliced beef, sausage cheese mushroom and we substituted the cheese for Bacon. It takes a very long time to be made and it cost $ 29.57 Update: My friend got really sick from the pizza, she had dirhhea, cramps, vomiting, nausea. It was violent as heck, also I gave a piece of the slice to another friend and she also got sicker than hell. Only 5 mins after eating the pizza, she went through the same thing. She needed to make it home immediately or there going to be a serious problem on the seat. Someone who made the pizza had a possible stomach flu virus and spreading it. I also got very sick and have a fever. Be warned, this place is the last place I would go.

Make sure you soak up that alcohol in your belly before you hit the sheets. They’re open late! I would stick to the regular pepperoni as it is usually the freshest. I made the mistake of ordering a combo slice as well as a pepperoni slice and the combo slice tasted as if it had just been sitting there. The wait can be a bit also but they have beer, wine, and tvs to keep you occupied.

I stand corrected. I stand before you humbled and happy to be wrong. That pizza spot down the street is actually really good. First time I came was late at night, the restaurant was flooded and I was far from happy with my pizza. Since that first time I’ve come back two times during the day and the pizza is pretty spot on. Crust is crisp, sauce is balanced and proportionate & cheese/toppings mesh well. Pepperoni can get REALLY greasy though, my pepperoni slice was flowing in oil(of course it’s also my favorite slice). Mike has a great memory/customer service skills while also being highly efficient. He knew what slice I was gonna order after only coming ONETIME. Mind you, this pizza place is really busy, yet the staff still remembers. You gotta respect that. Only been three times and I already feel like a regular, and that is how you retain business. P. S.3 dollar pints of Sam Adams Monday — Friday 3 – 8 is amazing for Santa Monica. Food 4⁄5NOMS

Amazing garlic knots and veggie pizza, esp if it’s 3am and you’re hungry(and possibly drunk). You may not feel so good about yourself in the morning but that’s the trade off. The workers here are pretty cool and have a lot of patience. Yay to that.
