During the wedding planning stages I told my future wife (at that time) that we did not need a video of our wedding, that they were dumb. I had seen my brother’s wedding video and it was dumb. Well being the greatest husband (–to-​be… at that time), I knew the right answer was «Whatever you want Honey.» And that’s what I said.
It’s been almost 2 years now (682 days to be exact) and I have seen our video at least 20x… 19x more than i have looked at our wedding photos. Photos look beautiful but videos… especially one that is very well edited, can capture all the joy and emotion that you experience that day and let you relive it… (or in my case remember it. :) HaHa.)
Katie & Joshua have an amazing eye at capturing and editing video making sure your special day is one that you will remember forever. I bet even if your special day is sub-​par they can make it look amazing! We got the a feature video and a trailer (a concise very well edited video with all the highlights which make it much more enjoyable to watch and show others… no one wants to watch your entire wedding.)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Katie and Joshua are really a great duo. They were the FIRST vendor we booked after we nailed down a wedding date because I didn’t want to miss out on having them for our big day. Most times when it comes to choosing a wedding videographer it’s difficult because you really don’t know what you’re getting until it’s all said and done. Luckily Katie and Joshua had been the videographers for one of my closest girlfriend’s wedding a year and half before mine. They were super fun to work with for her wedding and the video was priceless! I still LOL literally every time I watch it because they captured the essence of my silly friend and the adorable love between her and her husband. When you first meet Katie & Joshua you can tell right away that they’re genuine people. They are passionate about what the do and truly love hearing about each couple’s unique story which they have such a talent for illustrating in their couples’ video. Even though I knew I wanted to book Katie and Joshua right away, my husband did do a little shopping around. Don’t be fooled by other husband & wife duo teams that may make you think you’re getting a second shooter. Trust me I’ve learned second hand from my girlfriend’s wedding photographers that had one photographer, the husband, with the camera and the wife, the «so-​called second photographer» directing the whole time. One of the many great things about Katie and Joshua it that they are BOTH there on the day of, ALL day, and both shooting video. That meant more footage & coverage. They were able to split up and Joshua went with the guys while Katie stayed with the girls to video us getting ready. There were so many precious moments that morning of (that were probably all happening at the same time in different places) that Katie and Joshua were able to catch on camera — like each of us opening cards from each other, my mom helping me into my dress, my husband-​to-​be hanging out with his groomsmen even little set-​up details at the venue. They also incorporated music that a friend recorded for our wedding into our video which made it extra special. We were thrilled with our video and excited to share it with our friends and family. We’re so happy to have had Katie and Joshua there with us on our big day. Don’t make the mistake of missing out on these guys. They are super talented!

Katie and Joshua has this exceptional talent to capture YOUR story and make each and every video unique for each couple. Not to say that they are fun, kind, and extremely professional. My husband and I were lucky to run into them during a wedding show and boy were we lucky to have found them. They literally think of every detail and are extremely dedicated to their work. To elaborate on their dedication, Katie had an unfortunate accident a few months before our wedding which caused her to break her femur bone (that is strongest bone in your body). They immediately put us at ease and Katie was at our wedding, even in her crutches! She also had her dad come and help her hold the camera. Our video was amazing and definitely something I can show over and over again. Honestly they are the most trustworthy and dedicated people you will meet. Since our wedding, Katie and Joshua was also at my best friend’s wedding this past September. The results were again unbelievable. Take a moment and check out their site. Our outdoor family portrait session was amazing! Not only did Katie and Joshua scout out the location beforehand for an idea of what kind of backdrops we would like, they were great at making our 2.5 year old daughter feel so comfortable with the two of them… which resulted in a lot of smiles for the camera! I couldn’t be more thrilled with how beautifully the photos turned out! Katie and Joshua Studios were a joy to work with and made the experience fun for all of us; the finished product was amazing both in value and quality. We’ll definitely work with them again!
