We had Ryan and his technician Chad reface our tired kitchen cabinets and the result is terrific.
His quote for the work and materials was accurate, complete and reasonable enough that we chose real cherry wood.

Owner Ryan designed, architected and crafted a beautiful walnut cabinet for our fireplace alcove. Ryan paid impeccable attention to detail in addressing our requirements to house our multi-​media entertainment components and display a treasured vase and heirloom crystal punch bowl.
Ryan is an experienced professional in a trade requiring a high degree of skill who knows how to architect function and flexibility. The grain of the walnut drawer front complements the flowing grain of the granite fireplace and the 8″ drawer provides ample storage for the bundles of charger cords, cameras, and miscellaneous remote controls. The granite counter provides a beautiful place for a laptop or a tray of delicious appetizers and drinks. The lower adjustable walnut shelves provide flexibility for our multi-​media components. An alcove highlights the display items on the adjustable upper glass shelves.
Ryan and Chad designed and installed a flexible lower cabinet back to provide a flexible system for managing the numerous cables and electrical cords for the multi-​media system. Needless to say, I have struggled with cable and extension cord mania too many times in my lifetime.

I looked all over the internet and local shops around Seattle for a woodworker to finish a slab of wood I purchased and transform it into a dining table. I decided to go with Ryan and his company to finish my dining table and I couldn’t be happier! He was very professional, did great work, was quick and very easy to communicate with. Most places quote you a certain figure, then ad all these ‘unforeseen cost’ at the end. Ryan kept true to his quote and over delivered a great table in the end! I highly recommend him for any work-​working project you have!

Ryan built a custom wood crate for me, and throughout the entire process, he was really great to work with. He was very collaborative and open to my ideas, and was quick to suggest ways to improve the plan I had sketched out beforehand. Overall, I walked away with a high quality product, and an equally quality experience.

Ryan came recommended from a fellow woodworker in the Seattle area and spent roughly a year and a half working with us to build out our design for a media center.
Now I know what you’re thinking…“A year and a half? What did they do? Did they build some kinda track that allows a TV to slide out from behind custom bookshelf and slide into a matching media console, or something?“
Yep. Actually, that’s exactly what we did.
The year and a half epic journey involved figuring out how to run the cables to and from the AV receiver, altering the design to accommodate speaker changes, and learning how to mount the TV to the custom panel that Ryan designed. To say Ryan was flexible would be an understatement.
He was accommodating, his work top notch, and the final product fantastic.

Ryan did a great job for us. He was very communicative, laid out a plan and was very receptive to our ideas. High-​quality work. Highly recommended and a really good guy.

A few weeks ago we had Ryan refinish our 1980’s cabinets and we love the results. The work was done quickly and the results were exceptional. He met the deadlines he set and we couldn’t be happier.

After having a bad experience with another furniture repair business we gave Ryan a try. He did a great job repairing our bed and piano stool.

Update on our finished custom table– there aren’t enough stars to rate Ryan’s professionalism and beautiful work!
We were able to get our wood slab dried in a kiln and Ryan went right to work on it as soon as it was finished. For a charge, he even picked the wood up from the kiln which saved our office a lot of time and it was especially appreciated for him to go the extra mile (no pun intended). Once he began working on the project, he was in constant communication– sending me updates AND pictures the entire way! Considering this was such a custom project with such a unique piece of wood, this definitely put my mind to ease. Once the table was finished, he sent me pictures and when I showed the office, everyone’s jaws dropped! It looked beautiful! Continuing on both his thoroughness and professionalism, Ryan asked me to meet him and our table-​leg welder to see the piece and go over the next steps. Seeing the table top in person was even better than pictures, and I couldn’t take my hands off of it– it was so smooth! He did an amazing job finishing it so that it maintained its natural-​wood appearance, but was safe and protected against the expected wear that it will receive as a conference table. He very meticulously went over the next steps and the expectations of the wooden table, as well as clarified what I thought the final project should look like. I appreciated this very much because we were able to walk through the entire process and I was able to voice my opinion while he contributed his expertise and recommendations.
All in all, I cannot recommend Ryan more strongly to anyone looking for custom wood work. I can say with 100% confidence that any wood working needs we have in the future will be directly sent to Ryan. Thank you again Rydawell!

Ryan helped out on the design and building of an office desk for my electrical company. Ryan was very thorough on asking questions about storage, usage, space constraints, and the overall design. He sent over an estimate with a rough sketch of the design we talked about and I accepted his proposal. It took just over two weeks to complete the project and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Ryan delivered and installed the desk himself in my office, something that seems to be rare with woodworkers. He completed all adjustments and offered to return if anything did not work in the future. I appreciate his quick response to my original email and his timely manner to complete the project. I plan on using RYDAWELL WOODWORKS for future projects and will recommend him to my clients.

I have been using Ryan’s incredible woodworking and design skills for the last year. My first project with him was a bookshelf with built-​in bar area. He worked with me on specs, design, functionality and even did a site visit to ensure that the location within my apartment would work with his design. I was able to specify what kind of wood (up-​cycled), stain, finish and hardware. He also sent me a digital representation of what it would look like, which helped reassure me that we were on the same page. The final product is simple, rustic and amazing. It’s the central focus of my living room and is very functional. For my second project, Ryan took an old table I bought and rebuilt a base for it, based on my design «wants.» Once again we discussed the design, finish and specs. He provided me with a digital rendering and we were off! A plus to this project was that he was able to take the old legs, which had a lot of character and use them for a bench. Final product: Amazing! He is reasonably priced and provides great products. What makes him stand out is his innovation and attention to details. I love that what I dream up in my head can be made a reality by Ryan. He truly stands out and apart from the other people in the industry.
