History

Established in 2004.

N & R Construction started out as a framing company with over 25 employees at the peak of the construction boom in 2007. Since then the company has switched it’s focus on providing general contractor services for new construction, additions and remodels. However framing is still a sizable part of out business. 6 years ago we have added foundations and concrete flat work (driveways, concrete slabs and walkways) to our arsenal and started to provide «all structural solutions» to our customers. Currently we have over 35 employees and specialize in full house remodels/​additions, foundation and framing.

Alex Volkov and Anatoliy Rychkov A.

Business Owner

The company has been established by Anatoliy in 2004 as a framing company. Alex has joined the company in 2006 as a 50% partner. Since then the company has grown significantly and added concrete specialties and became a full General Contractor. Our work is anything from framing and concrete work to turn key or partial additions, remodels and new construction.

Based on the reviews and also on the information displayed on this business’s website I contacted this business. The owner sounded completely disinterested from the get go and only asked «is this big or small project»? I explained that we were looking to replace all of the concrete (quite a large area) around our residence. His comment was, «So, it is a remodel. We are not interested». Wow! Their website lists remodels (and particularly concrete) as one of their main specialties and such a reaction was not something I expected at all. In addition to being brushed off like that, any level of «customer service» simply isn’t there.

We have hired N&R twice in the past 3 years. First on a major Green remodel that included extensive structural changes and framing the whole house up to 3 floors. Most recently on a carport and shed that included foundation and framing. They are reliable, finish the job on time, and prompt to address any issues that might crop up. The end products look great.

I was referred to N&R by some good friends because I wanted to know who did their large-​scale home remodel – it all came out looking so awesome. They delivered for us as well; professional, clean, polite, creative, and they know what they’re doing. And they do everything!
Our job included moving a door and frame, filling in the wall where the old door was, tearing up carpet and laying down bamboo in one room, creating a new attic entrance in our ceiling, and finishing a bathroom remodel that involved some plumbing work and tile. We are very happy with the results.
We will be hiring them again for more work in the future. We are so glad that we don’t have to go through the hassle of bidding out jobs to several contractors, deciding which ones to go with, and then worrying about how everything will work out. We’ve found the guys we want to go with from now on as long as they keep up the excellent work!

I highly recommend this company! We were in the middle of planning our kitchen remodel and had to fire the contractor we were working with. I called Alexander and he came over the same day to take a look at our situation. We were supposed to start demolition in two days. He and his crew came over right away. They help us demo, built some new walls, raised our ceiling, move water, gas lines and electrical. All in the time frame we need and within our budget! They were friendly and easy to work with. Our stress level went way down with our decision to hire N & R Construction!
