Established in 2009.

Riggins Construction LLC has been serving the greater North Seattle area residents and businesses with the idea that quality and excellence is first priority. We try to stay competitive by offering a lowest price guarantee when applicable and stand behind our excellent craftsmanship with a free written warranty for all our customers. For years we have hand selected the materials we use from top local vendors. We try to support small local business and seasonally support local college students to help with staining our fences or other easy handyman work. Ryan the owner is a hands on operator providing all his own tools and experience to educate, train, and assist. Ryan has a lifetime of training from apprenticeship to construction trade schools and yearly certification programs offered through Labor and Industries. Ryan has a family history of excellent craftsmanship. Ryan also cares about his customers deeply and his employees as well so he attends regular business training.

Ryan was great and definitely went out of his way to get my fence built and sealed as soon as possible. Looks really nice and my neighbors are asking if he can do their fences. I think that doing the job as planned is worth the 5 stars, but were it possible I wouldn’t hesitate to give Ryan and Riggins Construction 6 for a great home improvement experience.

Ryan and crew did a great job on our fence and gate. They are very picky about the quality of wood and the craftsmanship. Pat worked long hours to get things done on schedule, despite one day of downpour! We have had lots of compliments on the fence.

I hired Riggins Construction to install a fence and 2 gates. The fence has tiers to accommodate the yard slope and it turned out amazing!. Ryan and Pat both worked very hard on three very long hot days. They even pressure washed the driveway and sidewalks. Couldn’t be happier with how it all looks!

We needed a gate at our house. Our neighbors already have fences up. The gate went in smoothly and in a timely fashion. Ryan communicated with me every step of the way quickly via text or email. If we ever need anything else again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Called to get a fence estimate, and left a message Saturday. Got a call back that same Saturday on a voicemail saying he does lots of fences and wants to earn my business. I’m thinking great! Called him back the same Saturday after work and left message to tell him what days I’m free for an estimate, No response. Called him Sunday, and Monday again, no response. I understand it may be a busy season right now, but in my opinion a 5 star company will take a minute out of their busy day to call a potential customer back to let them know if they can take the job or not. Communication is key, and this company sorely lacks it.

We just moved into a new house and needed gates installed to fence in our backyard. I’d give Ryan several stars for being one of the only contractor to answer our call during the busy center, but his quality and obvious attention to detail and customer satisfaction get him to 5*.
Ryan is very responsive and has completely earned my trust for following through on his word. He kept us up to date on expected project dates and there were no surprises… well, there was one surprise — he built us a heavy duty cover for our crawlspace that matches the fence and keeps people from falling into it!
Ryan genuinely cares about customer happiness and kindly came back to install a second layer of stain on our gates after he asked us if the first coat was dark enough. I am anxious to get him back to our house to install a retaining wall and bocce court! Great job, Ryan — can’t thank you enough.

We had Ryan come in and build us a fence in April this year, and Ryan and his guys did an awesome job. We had about 160 ft worth of an old fence we needed to have replaced, and an additional 20 feet or so (plus 3 gates) to add so that our backyard was completely fenced in for our dog. We also had a few weird angles and some stubborn old posts from the previous fence that they had deal with, but everything turned out great and looks really good. They even stuck around till dark the last night they were here so that they could finish up because Ryan knew we were so excited about being able to let our dog out to enjoy the yard. We would definitely use Ryan again!

Fence update: 1 year later and it still looks like new. Ryan really went the extra mile to meet my totally OCD quality standards, which also happen to be Ryan’s quality standards. Unparalleled attention to detail. Only critique is that our lovely fence now makes the rest of our house look shabby by comparison.

Ryan and his team did a fantastic job in the December for me (I am slow to getting around to my review). They are a clean crew, the materials are top quality and he is responsive to my questions and wanting to make changes at the last minute.
Since the new fence has been up I have people stopping by weekly to ask who did the work; I happily provide them Ryan’s name and contact!

Ryan and co. did a fantastic job on our new fence, deck stairs and front patio! We were given a reasonable bid and he was happy to discuss material costs, etc. so we fully understood pricing; he and his crew were friendly and accommodating to us, including our curious toddler and our big dog; and he really went the extra mile with finishing touches on all of his projects. We really couldn’t be happier with their work! If/​when we have another big project come up Riggins Construction LLC will be the first company we call.

We had a smallish length of fence to replace (50ft) and had some trouble finding willing fence builders. Ryan was more than willing and did exactly what we wanted. We added a gate along the fence and it is very nice. He is a very careful worker and picked out the best wood so the end product not only looked good but was high quality. His workers worked very hard and completed tasks quickly. Ryan is a perfectionist so not surprising to hear he replaced a few warped boards on another project as reported on Unilocal.I would definitely hire Ryan again.

Ryan and his team designed and built a gorgeous fence to surround our front yard in Queen Anne. He was timely, accommodating to both my (sometimes extensive) decision making AND my small kids. He was so lovely to work with in every way.
In fact, a few months after completion, I decided I didn’t love the height as much as I had thought I would, and they came back and changed it for basically nothing. !!!
I’ve worked with many contractors and Ryan breaks the mold — he’s honest, communicative, nice to your kids, and really goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. We will use them again in a heartbeat!
Plus we get so may compliments on our fence :).

We absolutely love our fence, Ryan and his crew did a great job! My wife designed a custom horizontal board fence and matching mailbox and Ryan delivered beautifully. He always went the extra mile for the details and was extremely friendly and reliable throughout. He genuinely cares about the quality of his work and we’ll definitely use his services for annual up-​keep as well.
Six months after building our fence, our next door neighbor asked him to build one like it for her, and he did another great job! They look incredible side by side. We asked him to re-​stain ours and he gave us a great deal, and then replaced a few small boards and built a new finishing piece around the mailbox at no charge!
Our house looks refreshed and updated, so good several of our neighbors used him as well. His pictures speak to his quality and attention to detail, and we were impressed and put at ease by his professionalism and reasonable prices.

There are several reasons that we hired Riggins Construction LLC. First, he cares about his reputation. Hardly any company owner would give feedback on the online reviews of their businesses, but Ryan does. I believe if anyone cares his reputation so much, he is both confident and competent. Second, he answered phone calls and replied every email. We are in the age of technology, but not every contractor cares about returning voicemail messages or replying an email regarding free estimate. Third, he works very hard. He actually came to check our old fence at 8:30 pm and spent long time discussing the details with us, even though we had not decided to hire him.
Of course, everyone worries about cost, unless you are the richest in the town. Ryan could not offer us the lowest price for the very traditional style, which we wanted to install at first just because it’s much cheaper according to another bid. But he gave us a very good price for the horizontal style, within our budget! He even offered to add an arbor above the gate for free, after we hired him. Yes, he mentioned the extra cost of soil dump runs when we signed the contract, but he did not charge it when the work was done.
We made the right decision: instead of having an ordinary fence, we actually got a beautiful work of art that everyone passes by is amazed by the fine design and excellent craftsmanship!

Still reasonably happy with the workmanship of our fence after a little more than a year of being constructed. But the narrow planks that were used aren’t as elegant or sturdy as some of the wider planks we’re seeing being used for some other homes. Also several of the planks had a number of knots with some of these popping out over time and leaving «peep» holes here and there.

Riggins Construction did an excellent job of replacing the back yard fence for our townhouse. It was a somewhat challenging project in that the back part of the yard was quite brushy and slopes steeply towards Pipers Creek canyon. However, Ryan and crew rose to the challenge and managed to install the posts securely while ensuring the slope was properly reinforced. We also decided to extend the fence perimeter once the work began, and Ryan was able to provide a change order promptly to accommodate this and avoid delays.
Ryan’s initial site visit was professional and very customer-​focused. His bid was competitive, and the work actually began a week earlier than promised. The final bill was consistent with the original estimate (adjusted for the change order), and he made sure all construction debris was removed from the site once the work was finished.
As I write this review, I am looking out the patio door at the beautiful fence that Ryan and crew built, and am glad we decided to engage their services. I would recommend Riggins Construction without hesitation for your next fence project.

Our new fence is fabulous! Can’t say anything but great things about Ryan and his crew! He was very kind and knowledgeable when he came out and gave us a bid. He kept us posted on everything with our new fence so that we weren’t wondering what is going on the whole time. They did an awesome job! He kept the price within our budget and within the time frame agreed upon. I felt we got a great deal for our money, and will definitely contact him again with future projects. I would highly recommend Ryan to all my friends and family!
